Nighty Night

Thought I’d leave with this sweet thought to tuck those kiddos in and no giggles of any kind.  When they were little I would lay on the floor next to their bed and reach up with a puppet to say their prayers and be silly.  That’s the one time that I wasn’t racing around and they loved to get in bed for the puppet show.  So this evening sentiment brought to you by our girl Monique. Her bed made me wistful for the simplicity of our puppet shows.

Now they’re in college and I’ve been told to not show up with any puppets.

Thanks Monique for the beauty that grabs our Attention.

What a great story and one I’d like to do with my grandchildren when they sleep over.
    I love your colorful quilt!

I LOVE this quilt by MOnique! My eldest son will be going to college in the Fall…such a different time of life…no more puppet shows here either! I’m anticipating grandchildren!

I LOVE what you did for your kids! So sweet and innovative. We have always read but lately Kelsey has been requesting for me to let her do a few embroidery stitches. I think that’s more stimulating than relaxing but hey, I will never say no to sewing! =D

This quilt is just so beautiful. The colors caught my eye immediately in flikr. Monique has such a talent for combining fabrics. Love that girl!

Mine aren’t into puppet shows or bedtime stories, either, at 13 & 16 ~ but they are still at home! 🙂 It must be satisfying being able to look back at all the amazing fabrics you have designed and know that some kids will be saying their prayers under a quilt sewn together with your fabrics!! xoxo
