Instagram Inspiration – Kids Edition

Summer is winding down here in Wilton and school starts next week, and probably like most of you, I’m looking forward to fall and cooler weather!!! I’ve dug out the acrylics and watercolors I’ve had stashed away for years, and I’ve been painting daily thanks to Pam Garrison and CreativeBug. She has a wonderful line of videos, check them out if you’ve ever wanted to pick up a paintbrush. Its never to late to try something new!

You have all been very busy this summer. I’ve loved seeing what you have been making. Thanks for sharing with me on Instagram. I’m always so inspired. Here are some of my favorites.

Coming Soon….Nostalgia

Sis Boom’s newest line, Nostalgia, debuts in October and we are thrilled to show you the full line today. Nostalgia has a whisper quality that is uncharacteristic of Sis Boom while still embracing pops of color that allude to Jennifer’s earlier fabrics for Freespirit. Confident and robust Nostalgia has a very feminine painterly quality that is soft and warm. The Harlequin pattern is perfect for creating the graphic quality in modern quilting and for bordering (framing) quilts and creating contrast with the orb quality of the other designs. It’s the pinks, the greens, the blues, the golds; the symphony that is Sis Boom. And oh the florals! Those fantastic florals with a faded old world sensibility sun kissed and ready to party! You’ll find it fits your vintage infused interiors, your vintage infused brands. It is romantic and happy just the way you like it.

UpCraft Club – featuring the Ethan Shirt

Brienne, of Handmade by Brienne, is a guest blogger over at UpCarft Club this week, and she wrote a post on our very own Sis Boom Ethan Shirt. She gave our pattern rave reviews for ease of printing it out by size, aligning the pattern pieces and finally putting it all together. If you know Carla Crim and Jennifer Paganelli of Sis Boom Pattern Company, you know this describes our patterns to a “T” and why we have had thousands of positive reviews on our Etsy Shop over the years.

Her son looks so dashing in this shirt, don’t you think? We love it in the handsome and classic blue and white check!

Sis Boom Room – Miami Beach Style

Sis Bom room

It’s hot, hot, hot in my corner of the world, but I’m loving this cool beach vibe from our newest Sis Boom Room Miami Beach Style! This room would be perfect for a screened in porch or sun room. A few strands of garden party lights and lovely lanterns add a subtle glimmer while you cozy up on this timeless white sectional, topped with a few Sis Boom pillows. A couple of hemp braided poufs will give you a beachy feel all year long and a perfect spot for guests to rest their drinks from the Bubble Beverage Dispenser…its 5 o’clock somewhere. But you’ll never really lose track of time when you add this finished beech wood timeless clock. A rustic yet elegant wood tray serves up yummy snacks and rounds out a perfect day or evening in your coastal style getaway.
