I made the Meghan dress last week and it was super easy! I have to confess, I have only made little boy clothes and cloth diapers. Those things take some skill, but I was afraid to sew something for myself. It was so easy! From pattern printing to finish was 3 hours (give or take). I have a 2 year old, so there were even several interruptions. I wouldn’t worry too much over the fit. The dress is very full and the elastic length can change the fit drastically. I am 9 months pregnant and wanted something loose for the belly and for nursing. This dress is great because I can pull it down easily to nurse the newborn. The only thing I did differently was use a serger (vs a straight stitch then zigzag finishing the edges). To make things even better, Sis Boom is super responsive via email and Facebook (I had a question about the fabric amount). I can’t wait to make more and am excited to try out some different patterns! BTW- I am a curvy girl and made the 2x. The fit was just about perfect!
