Good Golly Miss Molly! I could so use 5 yds of So St Croix 🙂 Let’s see…. 1.5yds for one of my circle skirts and a 1yd or so to make a peasant blouse from the Sis Boom Meghan pattern to go with it and the rest would go in a quilt, of course!

I was at a local quilt shop with my 3 year old last week. We were picking out some new prints for a few spring dresses. There was one print that she had to have- like life on earth would have ceased to exist if that fabric did not walk of the store in her hot little hands. Guess what print it was???? Great fabrics, I have so amazing thoughts for creating spring outfits for my grandchild with these. I have been experimenting with the strip quilting techinque.. Have a wonderful workshop…

OMG OMG I love this fabric sooooo much, I would die if I won…seriously I would at least pass out. I can see handbags, pillows for the day bed in my office….a skirt, or two for my girls….the options are endless!
What would I make? How to decide? The quilt that I’ve been wanting? Or peasant shirts for me and my little girls (using the Meghan and Molly patterns of course!) Or cafe curtains and a sewing machine cover for my sewing room? I guess the decision could only be made with the fabrics in hand! Thanks for the give away. Oh wow! FIVE WHOLE YARDS? What fun things I could use that gorgeous fabric for are rolling through my mind. First, an adorable purse for sure. After that who knows but, more than likely a new outfit of some sort for my cute granddaughter. And then? A lap quilt possibly?
