  1. Good Golly Miss Molly! I could so use 5 yds of So St Croix 🙂 Let’s see…. 1.5yds for one of my circle skirts and a 1yd or so to make a peasant blouse from the Sis Boom Meghan pattern to go with it and the rest would go in a quilt, of course!

    I was at a local quilt shop with my 3 year old last week. We were picking out some new prints for a few spring dresses. There was one print that she had to have- like life on earth would have ceased to exist if that fabric did not walk of the store in her hot little hands. Guess what print it was????     ps- I loved the color combo that Maya’s pants in the kids challenge. Whatever judge said blue and orange do not compliment each other must have failed Elementary School Art. Blue and orange ARE complimentary colors on the color wheel.

    Five whole yards to hoard, I mean, use in so many sewing projects?!?!!
    I’d first make a little something fir my mom–who usually dies not love what I do but exclaimed, on the phone, when she saw the So St. Croix preview on my blog: “that collection is just stunning!!!”
    I want a table cloth for my dining room table–maybe patchwork. Maybe just a runner and napkins.
    Or maybe I’ll just roll around in it because it’s so darn pretty.

    Oooh, I could make an awesome quilt with 5 yards of St Croix (mixing in my stash of Dance With Me). Because I do all my piecing by hand, I can quilt while watching “Project Runway”! 😀
