Here she is reluctantly in her beautiful home she shares with her daughter Sophie, my beautiful niece! I wish I could show you all her wacky poses but they are not suitable for primetime. So the background story goes like this. I had this dress made by my seamstress from a dress that my sister had, which my sister loved! It was a nice chocolate Brown Dress from Banana Republic.
Here's the part where you wince… my seamstress had to cut it up to figure out how it was made, something she never does…well I had to deliver the bad news to her in person so lucky for me when I saw her in Atlanta I had this dress with me ….it could have been real ugly!!! Not the dress, the situation. Anyway here it is The Matt Tux fabric worn beautifully by my precious sissy.
LOVE LOVE LOVE !!!!! So fantastic Jennnnnn!!!!!!!!
XOXOOXOXO

The dress is gorgeous. I love it.
BTW thankyou for taking the time to leave comment for me, I was totally blown away – you made my day!
Gorgeous sister, gorgeous dress! And my kind of gal, I love the vintage prints on her wall. Our Lady of Perpetual Help has always been one of my favorites.
Thank you for a lovely post.
That fabric is perfect for that design! I love the colors!
I am also very fond of the vintage virgins hanging on the wall. Thanks for sharing.
We just got in The Matt Tux fabric at Blissful Living, I got to unbox it last night and I can’t wait to get my hands on some to make some beautiful things like this dress. Very BEAUTIFUL!! Thank you for sharing.
Gorgeous dress, gorgeous house, gorgeous pictures, gorgeous view and gorgeous family!
Your sister looks fabulous in that fabulous dress! You two look so much alike – what an honor!
Fantastic fabric and dress! I love that first photo – it just appeals to me – the space, the way your sister is sitting, like a kid would! 🙂
Wow! I love it! It’s so pretty!
thanks sissy
im your biggest fan!
Beautiful! Oh, I can’t wait to get some of this fabric! 🙂
Just beautiful, so is the dress xoxoxox Clarice
So, so pretty. How lucky you are to have each other!
What a beautiful dress and from the photo i think she really likes it too. I really wish I could sew like that. I’m going to try real soon. : ) Neet, thanks for sharing and how neat you are to have a sister that you are close with.
The dress turned out beautifully. I’m sure she was very happy with it; even if she had to lose the other dress to get it;o) And your neice is gorgeous, I’ve seen her on your flickr page. In fact it was by showing my 6 year old, Eva a picture of her(to prove how cool it looks) that I FINALY got her to the hairdressers to have a bob cut! Unfortunately she has very fine hair and the end result was not nearly the same…ooops!
That dress is stunning and I also love that gold colored top too. Beautiful garments.
I love the peasant top…and that fabric. I am going to buy it right now. The dress is fabulous too.
WOWee I love the dress!
You two have the same smile…gorgeous. I’ve been catching up on your blog…you have been BUSY girlfriend…glad to see things are going well for you.
