Just want to thank you all for supporting the new mindset and getting behind me on my last post. I’m grateful for the new year and all my blogging buddies that sustain me and keep the creative cells juiced up! We are blessed! Below is a floral hat that belonged to Grandma inside a glittered urn!!
Beautiful!
Imagaine that hat on Grandma’s head!!
It looks beautiful in the glittered urn.

Ohh what a stunning photo. Clarice
Wow, I’d love to see that on Gram’s head. Amazing! So cute! Reminds me of the last Anthropologie catalog….there’s a cute young lady wearing a similar flower hat! CUTE!
Very pretty!
That was a hat? Splendid! My grandmother always wore a hat to church and to go shopping. I wish so much that I had one of her hats. She died when I was 10 (I’m 49 and holding…LOL). Anyway, I’ll have to ask some of my aunts if they have one of her hats…I’d love to have one as you have your’s!

What a wonderful hat. And that old picture looks amazing.
Now, I’ve been tagged by Sheree and, if it’s ok with you, I’m tagging you. See more in: http://buebau.blogspot.com/2008/01/ive-been-tagged.html
Have fun.

I love that you stuck a hat in the urn! at first I thought they were real
flowers until I read on. What a great way to display the hat!

I love the display…so cute! I love hats like that too…life would be sweeter if we could still wears hats like that. Although honestly, everytime I’ve tried one on, I’ve looked ridiculous! Oh well 🙂

oh how I love those vintage hats, it’s just my head it too big to wear them, such a shame. They do look a bit wacky sitting on top of my head but I’m saving them anyway for the day I turn 90ish and officially become an eccentric granny. I want to wear wild outfits with my flowery hats and hit the streets to cheer people up & give them a good belly laugh. In the meantime I think I’ll display some in an urn, great idea!
God bless,
Laura
ps. I’ve got a wacky pic of some vintage hats under my vintage photo album on my blog if you’d like to have a peek.
