To some this may look like childs play and it is…So much occurs when I collage the list of my favorite things….Here I go borrowing images from current magazines that will become fodder for inspiration….I love to take my time all while I collect the images are being pressed into my brain becoming the repetoire of images that will make up my next fabric and paper designs….I love doing these pages they have become my sourcebook of ideas….So I thought I’d show you the process where by I collect, cut, collage and paste creating compositions that really resonate with me……These images like sheet music to a musician become

I’ve been spending alot of time on the computer trying to flex my muscles there ,it’s almost second nature but it does consume me to learn and keep pushing through the photoshop tools to see what I can create…It’s been quite the learning curve but the rewards are amazing…As an artist I have to remember to play it’s the most important thing we can do is to give ourselves permission to play and not worry about judgements…the only way I gain any creative headway is by being a beginner and by making mistakes and sometimes those mistakes lead to great things….
