Crazy about this woman!! It’s where all my talent and perseverance hale from…..but more importantly mom has given me and nurtured my faith in God and that is the most profound gift of all…. especially when it comes from your mom…She is still teaching me!!! Here she is at 75 with more get up and go than I can only dream of…always calling me with ideas for the biz..I asked her the other day shouldn’t you be knitting in a rocker for Goodness sakes always nag nag nag about ideas for Sis Boom…love giving the woman a hard time….Look at her… you tell me…looks like she’s up to something…So take a minute please and wish Pat a Happy Birthday and we’ll pick a winner to recieve 3 yards of Modgirls…

Hope you have a wonderful birthday Pat! I can’t imagine my reaction if my daughter (now 16) posted something like this about me on a blog! tears of joy.
Isn’t it great that when someone tells us we’re just like our mother, we can say, “Thank You.” I truly believe that parents are one of God’s greatest blessings. Psalm 112. Happy Birthday. When I grow up I want to be just like you!!!

My mom is also 75. I used to think of that as so old (LOL) but my mom (and Pat) are definitely not old in any sense of the word.

I, myself, will be turning 45 too soon and it is hitting me pretty hard eeks! 45. Jennifer, your mother is a wonderful treasure, unfortunately I lost my mother to cancer at the young age of 54. I was just 30 at the time and I lost my dad 2 years after that. I ache for that occasional “motherly advice”. I feel cheated but I have found fulfillment in God, my wonderful hubby and my 2 beautiful children. My mother is with me in everything I do, my voice sounds like hers when I’m giving that “motherly advice” to my own children. I look down at my hands and I see her hands that used to fix my hair ribbons. Cherish your beautiful mother and her special gift in your life.
Happy Birthday Pat! You look absolutely marvelous! I love hearing about mothers passing their love of creating along to their children. Mine sure did, as did my grandmother.
