It is always fun to see someone famous wearing our fabrics. Even if it’s a swatch we get very excited and grateful to be part of the action. We adore this amazing tutu for Moxie and Mabel Design. Lindsy in Blue from Circa makes its red carpet debut on the sweetest of little girls Dannielynn Birkhead who posed with father Larry at the Moet & Chandon bash at the 140th Kentucky Derby in Louisville Saturday. She be represent en!!! We are so delighted That Moxie and Mabel have used our fabrics in their creations. See there site for more precious finds.

We had a magical photoshoot with Tim Geaney our favorite photographer in the whole wide world. His photos are just soulful and touching. We can’t believe our good fortune when we get to have fun with him in the jungle or in his studio. We love a collaboration and we love trying new things, it’s how we grow into ourselves. I hope these photos engage you and encourage you to be expressive and enjoy the process!!

I can’t get over the beauty you are all creating with Circa!! You have all been so patient so loving so supportive of one another, sharing and giving yardage away to help another quilter or passionate sewist! You are all making me so happy and I can’t get over how many lovely people knock on my FB page everyday. You are all so delightful and you know I love seeing those pretties you are sewing. I don’t have to tell you the word on the street about Circa and it all started here by listening to your requests and at the same time upholding the Sis Boom Legacy of Happy!!
So check these out. Another one of our Aussie friends is creating to die for sunsuits that are just dreamy! Lil Luscious on facebook needs to get more in stock because she does it so well. Serenity Worell you are making our day!!!!

We love our Betty Ann pattern named for a beloved mentor of mine. This Maxi looks so terrific on Jeanne Hamling, one of our long time testers daughters. Look at the shoes my friends , that’s what caught my eye!!! I love her confidence and pride in wearing one of mom’s creations!!! All of Jeanne’s kids are beautiful and I had the pleasure of meeting this one Miss Lily out in Utah!! Folks I’m sorry I won’t be at quilt market but I will be thinking of all of you!!! So I had my friend Maritza Bermudez who worked on Happy Home with me create this beautiful canopy just like the one in Happy Home. Once the hardware is up you can take this and change it out. I can’t get over this. All these wonderful bouquets cascading down. I tell you I just will never get enough of Circa and I hope you don’t either. So for a fraction of what designer fabrics would cost you can have the same upscale look!!! Seriously this could cost up to $1000.00 to $1500.00 in Ct. easily!!! DIY this was $160.00 for fabric!! For those of us obsessed with fabric that is a drop in the bucket. Back to back these fabrics are just so perfect together. Please note nothing matches, I love just throwing together what I love!!! When you surround yourself with things you love that is your signature look!! So I hope you like what you see not at all fussy, just impromptu. soon the Circa Pillows will be done and we will show you some whole cloth quilts. Enjoy the photos and of course Mr. George in the middle of it all.

Look at this beauty, I would have loved a face but sometimes it’s just not a good hair day. This is my old island roots. I love woman of color in brights it brings me back to my homeland. And when I hear a sing songy dialect of the Caribbean islands I am somehow immediately transported to a wonderful time in my life. This color dazzles on this woman and I’m so glad her first choice was brights. Against her skin tone it was just all meant to be. Sara Beth Upshaw of Molly Blossom’s is kicking it up big time in Jackson Mississippi and we couldn’t be more thrilled with this amazing silhouette!!
