I’m so excited, my newest fabric line, Caravelle Arcade is shipping now!!! Inspired by the lovely island of St. Criox, where I lived for many years as a young girl, this room has a dash of tropical fun, and bit of modern flair to help update any room from drab to fab.
DwellStudio’s Cosmic Chandelier is far out…but not too far out that you’ll be over it by next year. Add a dash of Sis Boom Caravelle Arcade to curtains, pillows, a fabulous upholstered piece, plus an iconic mid-century modern inspired aqua chair, a groovy clock, plus other darling accessories like this blue and white striped throw and textured vases. Sis Boom Andy & Atomic embroidered pillows are just icing on the cake. Beautiful, blue skies and abundant sunshine are on tap for today in our lovely corner of New England and we couldn’t be HAPPIER! To find Caravell Arcade, visit your favorite, local quilt shop or any online retailer!
Chandelier: DwellStudio Small Cosmic Chandelier
Sis Boom Pillows: Atomic Embroidered Pillow, Andy Embroidered Pillow
Chair: Montmartre Arm Chair in Aqua

This past weekend I had the luxury of attending Monarch Workshop. The workshop is run by an incredible group of women (including our very own Madeline) and aims to support “those who need a little push, those who are looking for a creative connection, and those who need inspiration to believe they can follow their dreams.”
The attendees were made up of a spectacular group of women whose occupations ranged from bloggers to therapists and real estate agents to artists. The two day workshop consisted of non-stop activities (lessons, speakers, crafting) that catered to the mind, body and soul. It was FABULOUS.
Our fearless leader, Jennifer Paganelli, was a guest speaker and led the group in creating vision books. The books were created by gluing inspiring cut outs (words, quotes, images) from magazines onto blank notebook pages.

There was yoga and lessons in make-up and skincare. We made our own dream catchers, ate delicious food (from the ladies at Whisk + Brush) and had a tutorial in all things confetti! Take a look below of more images from the incredibly talented Victoria Gloria:

Can you keep a secret? Since I totally trust my Paganelli Peeps, I’m going to let it all out…just don’t tell my boss…
You guys, I have the BEST job in the world! I get to be surrounded by incredible people and breathtaking fabrics all day. We chat, we work, we craft, there are puppies here…what more could you ask for? I feel so incredibly lucky and grateful to have landed a job with Sis Boom that if someone dared me to eat dirt, I’d totally do it!
So, what has me jumping for joy today? The answer is: the job perks, of course!
Yesterday the most incredible dress arrived at the office and I got to try it on!!

This patchwork Good Company (in stores November 2014) dress was inspired by a J.Crew silhouette and the seamstress absolutely nailed it! Not only was it super comfortable, but it ended up being super convenient during a business meeting as well. When speaking about Jennifer’s upcoming line, Good Company (did I mention it will be available in stores November 2014), I simply stood up to reveal what was to come!
What else did I do for the hour I spent in the dress? Craft and snap some selfies, of course!

Hope everyone enjoys the sneak peek at the collection!

If you don’t already know, the bold, vibrant, joyful and stunning colors used in all of Jennifer’s lines are a tribute to her time growing up in the Caribbean. That’s right, Jennifer grew up in St. Croix! How cool is that?! Bold colors are popping up all over the place these days and we want to share with you some of our favorites! Here is our first installment of a new series called Caribbean Colors! Today our focus will be the 2014 Emmy Awards! Here are our winners for Best Dressed in Caribbean Colors on a Red Carpet:
Samira Wiley in Christian Siriano:

Julia Louis-Dreyfus in Carolina Herrera:

Heidi Klum in Zac Posen:

Edie Falco in Escada:

Zooey Deschanel in Oscar de la Renta:
And finally, a special mention goes to Allison Williams in Giambattista Valli Couture (who along with Heidi Klum was my personal best dressed star) for Best Pop of A Caribbean Color:

Hi Everyone!
As I previously mentioned, my professional background includes putting together bedding collections. In fact, long before I joined Sis Boom, I was using Jennifer’s lines to make duvets, sheet sets, dust ruffles, upholstered headboards, toss pillows, curtains and more! While my mind automatically sees a large scale floral and thinks “duvet,” you guys turn the same exact print into the most beautiful clothing, quilts, aprons, shower curtains, etc. I have ever seen! I am CONSTANTLY blown away by your creativity. Since you have been so gracious in sharing your creations with us, I’d thought I’d share with you how my mind views a brand new Jennifer Paganelli collection. And speaking of brand new, I will be using fabrics that can be found in her upcoming “Good Company” line to be released in November 2014.
Duvet:

Sheet Set:

Another great suggestion is using a large bold pattern for an upholstered headboard like these:

and use a combination of solid colors found in the print as your duvet!
An upholstered headboard can be found in Happy Home by Jennifer Paganelli!
Keep your creations coming! We love seeing them!!

Hello fellow Sis Boom admirers! My name is Lisa and I am the newest addition to Team Sis Boom! From here on out one of my many tasks here will be to serve as your Style Maven! We’ll talk about the latest trends in fashion, fabrics, furniture and many more things that don’t necessarily start with an “F”. Before we get to that, here’s a little bit about me: I grew up in Connecticut with a fierce passion for design. While I studied creative writing my background includes running a children’s shop, bedding design, interior design, visual merchandising and being a pretty awesome Aunt to 4 little girls and 1 little man. In 2008 I caught a glimpse of my very fist Sis Boom design (in the collection “Bell Bottoms”) and instantly became a fan! To quote my brand new Twitter account (www.twitter.com/lbeesa) I’m a “lover of laughter, textiles, elephants, pineapples, triangles, the beatles and much, much more!” I am thrilled to be working side by side with Jennifer and Co. and cannot wait to meet and speak with each and every one of you!
For my first post I’ve decided to let my OCD get the best of me and bring something to your attention….Have you noticed that the dots featured in JennyEliza on the JoAnn Fabrics website look enormous?!? I promise you they are not! The image shown is a highly pixelated version! I want you guys to know exactly what you’re getting so below please take a look the ACTUAL scale of the dots featured on our lovely Sophie. I’ve included the pixelated version as well for your viewing pleasure. PHEW! I feel better getting that off my chest!
Thank you so much for welcoming me into your world Sis Boom fans!
Untill next time –
Lisa

P.S. Here’s a picture of me in all my Sis Boom glory!
