You all are just the coolest ever. I posted this photo on facebook and asked which one you liked better and after 250 comments we saw that you are unmistakeably leaning towards blue. For those who chose the one with more yellow I promise you will see it in a future color story!!! Your compassion your love of fabric did not go unnoticed and I love you for that. That chill in the air could only mean one thing…The Sis Boom Holiday Sale is around the corner!

Click this link and follow the prompts to create your tag using the business card template. Scroll to the bottom and upload your artwork by clicking on “Use Your Complete Design.” Design the artwork for your tag using Photoshop or Illustrator. The Sis Boom Collective market opens!!! 8pm for the US and 10 PM tomorrow Saturday in Australia!!! I am beside myself with anticipation. It has been so joyful to see all the contributions to this collective. Karynne Johnson of Chook Shed Design and Christie of Christies Quilting Boutique have organized quite a fiesta!! I am so moved by all the love! Get there and if you see something pounce, it moves quickly..just write sold and its yours!!
Border Prints!!!
So imagine my surprise when I saw lovely images of this beautiful woman in a dress she created using our Border print from Beauty Queen (Valerie) in her dress design. I almost fell off my chair when I got to see her vision in real time. Exquisite. border prints can go a long way but you have to be inspired, you have to know what they can be used for and we think Paisley Farm did an incredible job!! You will be so stuck on her blog!! She does it all so well!!!! Sofia lives in Las Vegas , Nevada and her blog is so inspirational. She loves Floral fabric so I would say she really gets me. I am so excited for you to meet her and see her beautiful dress that I know will make you swoon. I took the same border print and used it on my antique bed as a covering and I just love the results so whatever the use just know you can’t go wrong with a border print..heavenly ideas await you! So be sure to follow Sofia Moore on her blog and Facebook page, we are hoping she does it in other colorways. This is very much like our Angie so I expect to see some of those being created. We are THRILLED to be announcing the girl’s version of the ladies Tortola today, The Tobago pattern. The pattern Goes from size 3/6m all the way up to 13/14! Each size has the option for a little ‘V’ slit in front, and multiple cutting length options so you can have dress or shirt or anywhere in between length! The sizes up to and including 3/4 have a loop or tie option for the back to accommodate the toddler/baby head sizes easily into the shirt. 5/6 and above have a straight across back piece like the Tortola pattern. Make your Valentine a bouquet
Get ready for a photo tutorial of the Valentines Bouquet you all loved. Get some valentine scrapbook paper, maybe some sheet music, some stripes if you want and you will need 18-20 gauge wire so you can glue both ends with hearts. Cut out 40 hearts and 40 backs to those hearts. Place hearts on either end of 12″ wire stem put scrapbook paper and sheet music back to back and sandwich in the wire. Use a 2″ punch for best results! See supplies below, very easy project.
Picking up where we left off..
Okay so you have your hearts on wires now so fold the bunch in half, close hand around gently..bend back the hearts and flip the music sheet to the back or whatever you like the sheet music can be on top( they are on wire so whatever you choose will be on the top…press them outward (that’s why we use wire 20 gauge) then when they are all out hold with a rather firm grip and spread them to make a bouquet, so they progressively go out. , wrap ribbon around the wire once you have determined your bouquet is where you like it..use hot glue and wrap ribbon around the stem to the top..seal with hot glue..then in the middle of the bouquet put hot glue and add a button or some other vintage castoff or an old jewel..and voila Give it to the one you love!!!! Please let me know how you did.

Trees and things
I don’t mean at all to be annoying but this is truly what I am working on these days. Our Holiday Show. November 7-9 9-6 and believe me it takes elves working day and night. We start early and we work long hours to make sure we have created a worthwhile place to spend some time. So I am kicking off the calender with these trees, my new fetish!!! I love them. I hope you will come by to rest your weary Holiday feet and get excited about the Holidays. It is early this year and we just have so much to get ready!!! Please say you will come and join us.
