How do you like that? Fabrics misbehaving..acting like very expensive fabric and giving the same intense rich feel at $10.00……Good thing quilting cottons are a secret. Seriously..why pay more!!!! I’ll take $80.00 over $800.00 any day!!! Christy Bennett with her ruffles and frills and her etsy shop filled with all things Drapery is the best friend a girl could have cause she gets it!! She does rooms professionally and I’m sure she’d do them virtually!! Talk to her! Get that Modern Romantic feel the way only Christy can!! Love you girl!!

How thrilling is this?? Tye Dye Diva Jen Hagedorn has come up with the sweetest Butterfly dress. So then Teresa Abel Martin takes it a step further with her darling daughter in fabrics from Joann Fabric and Craft Stores and puts the Cheery in Christmas!!! What a beautiful moment and it looks like it’s taken out of the cinema looks so dreamy and you can tell she has some things she’d like to say. Oh and if Santa does exist, that has got to be him!!!

Here’s the remarkable tote everyone talks about in our Happy Home book. We actually have a beautiful sunhat as well to show you the versatility of quilting cottons, not just for quilts but has expanded to apparel and home dec product categories. We just adore Circa and are so glad you have decided to hoard that line because it will be years before it makes a comeback if at all. It is a classic and will live on long after the shelves are depleted. We thought we’d show you two of the projects from Happy Home done up in Circa for your viewing pleasure. As you all know I have made it my mission to get these books into every sewist’s hands so they can have fun creating all the loveliness inside these books!! I know I belabor the issue but I love that these books connect us all and inform us of the aesthetic that is Sis Boom. That’s what Circa gives us!! It’s a Glance at the past but not a stare. We love to borrow from the past but we love to fussy it up with all your favorite colors. There is something you relate to something you can’t quite put your finger on..that would be the sentiment from an era gone by!
