Fiona Kelly, of Tangled Blossom Design, posted stunning photos of 2 Donna bags from Swoon Patterns she sewed using Sis Boom Fabric. They are gorgeous!!

First up is this midnight blue beauty. Fiona used Beauty Queen Valerie on the outside, lined it with Linky Love and has a Valerie zippered pocket inside too! A match made in heaven. I love this combination together. Perfection!

The second is also a midnight blue nautical stripe stunner from the Beauty Queen line with Katie Stripe on the outside along with Letty on the inside. Perfect for summer. Both bags were quickly snatched up from her Etsy shop, but Fiona can make more to order. Or give making your own Donna bag a whirl. We love Swoon patterns and their easy to follow directions.
I’m always so honored and inspired when you share your Sis Boom creations with me! They bring me such joy. What have you been working on? Don’t be shy. Give me a shout on Facebook or Instagram.

So imagine my surprise when I saw lovely images of this beautiful woman in a dress she created using our Border print from Beauty Queen (Valerie) in her dress design. I almost fell off my chair when I got to see her vision in real time. Exquisite. border prints can go a long way but you have to be inspired, you have to know what they can be used for and we think Paisley Farm did an incredible job!! You will be so stuck on her blog!! She does it all so well!!!! Sofia lives in Las Vegas , Nevada and her blog is so inspirational. She loves Floral fabric so I would say she really gets me. I am so excited for you to meet her and see her beautiful dress that I know will make you swoon. I took the same border print and used it on my antique bed as a covering and I just love the results so whatever the use just know you can’t go wrong with a border print..heavenly ideas await you! So be sure to follow Sofia Moore on her blog and Facebook page, we are hoping she does it in other colorways. This is very much like our Angie so I expect to see some of those being created. Thanks Sofia!!! Please show us how you use your border prints!!!

Beauty Queen, for the beauty we put in the world. I love to arrange, I love to see pretty. I love to see color and pattern play with one another. I love stripes and Roses and I love designing fabrics. But what I love most is your signature, your sensibility, and how you interpret and create with these fabrics. Beauty Queen is for what we do, the legacy we leave, the hearts we touch, the things that truly matter. Beauty Queen is about self confidence and emerging into the person we were meant to be. We are all Beauty Queens, we are all relevant, we are all adored, we are all loved. Beauty Queen is a state of mind, the flowers and extra petals is for road to finding you. I really mean it.

Today I was inboxed by a lovely woman MaryAnn Williamson Abdullah with this lovely picture of her beautiful daughter. I was so impressed. I love this and I love the fabric choices from Beauty Queen. It’s such a wonderful patchwork medley with that amazing pink sash and I think this pattern is going to be a huge hit. As soon as I find out more about it I will let you know. MaryAnn thank you for sharing the album with me are readers are definitely going to want to create this!!! Update alert.. Maryann says. The top pattern I used is the soon to be released “Huckleberry” pattern by Jocelyn Thurm of FooFoo Threads. The shorts are the “Bow Tie Shorties” from Whimsy Couture.
