Sis Boom in Homespun Magazine

headboard

We are thrilled to be in this month’s issue of Homespun magazine out of Australia. Older fans might recognize this photo from a few years ago, but it’s a timeless idea worth sharing again. Here, Jennifer used her grandmother’s yo-yo quilt for the upholstered headboard. You know how we love mixing vintage looks with the new here at Sis Boom! Pillows by Jennifer for Peking Handicraft. Photo by the uber talented Tim Geaney.

Below is a picture of the magazine cover. Its worth seeking out for our Australian fans. Interested fans outside of Australia can download a digital copy as well. It’s a lovely issue loaded with ideas. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Sis Boom Room – Royal Edition

Royal baby
Welcome to the World Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge! We are so happy you are here!!! Our newest Sis Boom Room is worthy of a Princess or anyone who wants to feel like a royal. An airy white rattan chair brings the outside in, while celebratory drinks in honor of the princess can be served in cheerful bubble glasses resting on darling knitted coasters on this fabulous textured rattan tray. No British royal room is complete without the Union Jack, so we added it TWICE in pink and red on our very own Sis Boom rug and embroidered pillow. Simply smashing, darling! Finally set the mood with a fun candle from Mod Cloth and play your favorite tunes (may we suggest the Beatles?) on this vintage portable radio, mp3 device friendly of course. A lovely coffee table book on looking dapper on the golf course and an orange mod planter rounds out the room. Brilliant!
