So here it is the most popular pattern for it’s ease of creating and of versatility. It’s the Molly Peasant! Named after my sweet sis and that’s Sophie my niece when she was a little one. You probably know her from our book Girls World.
Sort of a weekly round up of good things around the play yard, so great to see such excitement over Circa. Lynn Harris has her’s laid out and she just got a style board so she can play with shapes while she fashions a beautiful quilt, the excitement is contagious. And of course Miss Monique Reynolds has the beginnings of hers all cut out. It’s such a wonderful day here, we love to see how you see the world and quilting is no exception. Your visions take my breath away. I’ve been showing off Laminate and beautiful vintage china on facebook and making hearts out of a fabric line I”m working on. You know, always trying to bring the lush to your front door. We also want you to know the shop will soon be filled with our beautiful pillows so be watching for them. Sorry about the intermittent blogging I’ve got so much to do!!! I love handmade at the Holidays. Thanks for your lovely thoughts for my mama, she is feeling way better and hope is on the horizon. If you’ll excuse me I’ll plug Happy Home for a Holiday Gift for the next couple of months until I’ve sold every last one!!! (I wish) I wonder what you are all creating for the Holidays show me on Sis Boom facebook because I love to share in your creations. As you know we are getting ready for our annual show coming up Dec. 13, 14,15th that Thursday, Friday, Saturday. So I just want to say I’m in the speed lane of crafting and enjoying my time immensely in the craft room. My husband Peter and my assistant Madeline are making it so nice for me so that I ‘m free to create 100’s of items for the show so from October to December I don’t look up hardly. But as crafters all know something amazingly divine happens when we are in the zone. It’s a magical time and I have so many ideas and those ideas breed new ideas so there is no time to despair. I hope you all our well I’ve been thinking so much about the Sandy victims and praying for them and trying to do what I can. Before I leave you I wanted to show you the Vanessa and Bettyann ready to be launched in two short weeks and it’s a very exciting time. This is one of the last items in our book Happy Home to be done and then all the clothes in the book will be patterns.!!! Thank you Carla for making this all come to life. You are the best!
