April Keeter approached me back in January about her Boutique challenge Auction that happens a few times a year. The theme was Sis Boom Patterns and sis Boom fabric and I am telling you, blown away!!! Oh I love a challenge and these ladies brought their personal best. Each one had me smitten and I know it will be a huge success. I am telling you a great group of women and extremely amazing talents. I bow down to Carla Crim on this one Not as easy as most of our patterns the Ethan and Marco patterns will challenge you to take the next step. In true Sis Boom form Carla writes it so the beginner can stay engaged and create something wonderful for the boys/ men in your life. Carla will not bring a pattern to market that all levels cannot create. We are so excited about this! Folks were so enthusiastic about seeing a men’s shirt in Happy Home that we decided to offer it in our pattern collection. Kudos to the Scientific Seamstress for bringing it to life!!! So let’s create!!! They are in our shop and will be distributed to our sellers very soon.Please note these are long sleeves with cuffs we forgot to show you them with the cuff..next photoshoot. We introduced the Betty Ann later in the game to get a jump on spring but look what Jenny did for her daughter Kelsey.
She made a Leighanna peasant and used it beautifully under the Betty Ann. This is sensational for the cooler months. Jenny you’ll have to tell us that sweet fabric on the blouse. Lovely. We will never ever get enough of Jenny’s wonderful work!
Look at some of her amazing work using our patterns and even one she designed herself. Jenny at Sew Pretty Dresses you make my world go round.!

As you know we are getting ready for our annual show coming up Dec. 13, 14,15th that Thursday, Friday, Saturday. So I just want to say I’m in the speed lane of crafting and enjoying my time immensely in the craft room. My husband Peter and my assistant Madeline are making it so nice for me so that I ‘m free to create 100’s of items for the show so from October to December I don’t look up hardly. But as crafters all know something amazingly divine happens when we are in the zone. It’s a magical time and I have so many ideas and those ideas breed new ideas so there is no time to despair. I hope you all our well I’ve been thinking so much about the Sandy victims and praying for them and trying to do what I can. Before I leave you I wanted to show you the Vanessa and Bettyann ready to be launched in two short weeks and it’s a very exciting time. This is one of the last items in our book Happy Home to be done and then all the clothes in the book will be patterns.!!! Thank you Carla for making this all come to life. You are the best!

The Marlo top on Liz so fresh so cool, so comfortable. I think our Aussie friends will love this at any time of year. Australia is one of our largest demographics so whenever you work with Sis Boom fabric think of vacationland!!! We are so grateful to all of our customers who have put us on the map before all of you noone one knew what a Sis Boom was!!!! 🙂 So I am thinking of all of you today as I post a picture of beautiful Liz in her marigold zebra!! We are so excited for Judy Buchanan’s debut in Sew Beautiful!! It‘s a big Deal. It never gets old. Everytime we make it into a magazine we are overjoyed!!
