As if the HGTV feature wasn’t enough to make our heads explode, this vibrant collection was featured on the (eh hem) front page (eh hem) of Horchow yesterday. Sigh. We’ve always admired Horchow and their style-setting ways, so to see Sis Boom up there was truly a special moment.

Aside from the rainy few days we’ve had it’s been super amazing outside. Don’t you just wanna soak up the sun? Peep our NEW Sis Boom expression pillows and sundial pillow (that’s what we’ll call it for now!).

Circa is coming and the anticipation is building and before you know it you will be making such lovelies as these. I tell you this is a long wait even for me because I want to see your creations. We call this one a two bolter for stores because we know it’s going to fly off the shelves by all the clamor on facebook. It is Circa, it’s kind of all your faves wrapped into one introduction!! So big thanks to the stores online and brick and mortar we are so grateful to you for servicing these good folk!!! My other favorite expression is hoardworthy because we don’t want another Flower Power Fiasco. If you love it, go for it..The other day two yards of Loopy vintage Floral went for $300.00 dollars on ebay!!! Yowsers! So let’s be sensible and go for it now!! Then in 10 years we will all sell it on ebay..Me too!!! Seriously you guys make it so fun and I love to giggle with you cause at the end of the day we all love to have a big stash and the one with the most wins!!! :))))) All my love, Jennifer

Sort of a weekly round up of good things around the play yard, so great to see such excitement over Circa. Lynn Harris has her’s laid out and she just got a style board so she can play with shapes while she fashions a beautiful quilt, the excitement is contagious. And of course Miss Monique Reynolds has the beginnings of hers all cut out. It’s such a wonderful day here, we love to see how you see the world and quilting is no exception. Your visions take my breath away. I’ve been showing off Laminate and beautiful vintage china on facebook and making hearts out of a fabric line I”m working on. You know, always trying to bring the lush to your front door. We also want you to know the shop will soon be filled with our beautiful pillows so be watching for them. That’s about it for now please know we just think the world of each and every one of you!

That’s just what it feels like this Holiday season. So much handmade love going around. This holiday season let’s keep it in America. It may be a tiny bit pricier but it’s keeping business in the USA and keeping business local. We employ about five people and that number can shoot to 15 during the Holidays, although it’s not a lot we feel good about it and know in time that number will grow. So here are a few things from our very own Judy Buchanan who creates hundreds of items to be sold around the world. She works diligently and long hours to keep her small business humming along. If that sounds like you, we are 100% behind you. We are such a big supporter and we know firsthand what it takes. She’s got everything for the season. Stockings, pillows, clothing, ties.
