It’s been a little over a month since Caravelle Arcade sailed into the stores, and I’m thrilled to see all the projects you’re sharing with me on Facebook and Instagram. You guys are a talented bunch!
Last week my favorite photographer in the world, Tim Geaney, stopped by and we took some amazing photos of Sis Boom patterns in Caravelle Arcade. You can create the same look below by using Bonnie in purple in our Judy Fancy Pants pattern topped off with Rebecca in fuchsia in our Devon Top. Have lots of small scraps of your favorite Sis Boom fabrics left over from various sewing projects? A decoupage guitar is the perfect accessory! In this YouTube video I show you how to decoupage a suitcase, but the same technique can be applied to anything including a guitar.
If you are local to me in the southwestern CT area, RUN don’t walk to see Christie at Christie’s Quilting Boutique because she has a windfall of Sis Boom Fabric especially the Caravelle Arcade line. Everyone else, call your local quilt shop or shop online. Hope you’re having a fabulous week. XOXO!

Fiona Kelly, of Tangled Blossom Design, posted stunning photos of 2 Donna bags from Swoon Patterns she sewed using Sis Boom Fabric. They are gorgeous!!
First up is this midnight blue beauty. Fiona used Beauty Queen Valerie on the outside, lined it with Linky Love and has a Valerie zippered pocket inside too! A match made in heaven. I love this combination together. Perfection!
The second is also a midnight blue nautical stripe stunner from the Beauty Queen line with Katie Stripe on the outside along with Letty on the inside. Perfect for summer. Both bags were quickly snatched up from her Etsy shop, but Fiona can make more to order. Or give making your own Donna bag a whirl. We love Swoon patterns and their easy to follow directions.

Our friends over at Hickity-Pickity sent me these gorgeous shots for their new summer collection using Caravelle Arcade. All I can say is WOWZERS. Have you seen anything cuter for little girls this summer??? They have outdone themselves again!
Holy summer cuteness! The top is called Beach Bandeaux and the bottom’s are Shelling Shorties! Loving the contrasting big bow on the back.
Perfectly cool and comfortable for a beach party or just hanging out in the backyard on a lazy summer day.
Who is ready for tea in these darling Twirly Sundresses?
Judy has such a talent for mixing the colors and patterns. I bet any little girl could dance the day away in one of these dresses!

Stop what you’re doing right now, grab yourself a cup or tea or coffee, and check out these darling tea mats Melissa Peda made over at 100 Billion Stars. Blues, pinks and big florals combine all my favorites into one easy sewing project!
Aren’t they smashing?! I can’t get enough of them. She used fabric from our newest line Caravelle Arcade. The darling pink monogram adds the perfect final touch. The best part is, these can be whipped up in a jiffy! Maybe surprise a dear friend, a favorite teacher, our invite your bestest friend over for tea and nibbley things on the back porch, and enjoy this glorious weather we are having. Melissa was sweet enough to send me 4 of these, and I’m ever so grateful for the surprise. They really brightened up my weekend.

Sew 4 Home made this delightful round piped pillow with a gathered top and I couldn’t be more in love. Comfortable, colorful and easy to make. The darling contrasting covered button and piping is icing on the cake!
They used 2 fabrics from an oldie but goodie Sis Boom line called Happy Land. Since Happy Land can be hard to find these days, may I recommend our newest line of fabric, Caravelle Arcade? It launched at the beginning of May and would be perfect for this project!

So much going on at Sis Boom and Jenny Eliza We have been developing fabrics for both the Independent stores and for JoAnn Stores and we are loving the end result and we think you will tooooo!!!! Good Company released earlier in the month and I am watching Facebook Daily for your wonderful creations..God I love my job!! Good Company has sent you all swooning and I am so appreciative of your positive responses!! Then I got the most amazing delivery from JoAnn Stores of our new release in January!!

Click this link and follow the prompts to create your tag using the business card template. Scroll to the bottom and upload your artwork by clicking on “Use Your Complete Design.” Design the artwork for your tag using Photoshop or Illustrator. After the upload process is complete, expect to cut and punch holes in your card.

Can you keep a secret? Since I totally trust my Paganelli Peeps, I’m going to let it all out…just don’t tell my boss…
You guys, I have the BEST job in the world! I get to be surrounded by incredible people and breathtaking fabrics all day. We chat, we work, we craft, there are puppies here…what more could you ask for? I feel so incredibly lucky and grateful to have landed a job with Sis Boom that if someone dared me to eat dirt, I’d totally do it!
So, what has me jumping for joy today? The answer is: the job perks, of course!
Yesterday the most incredible dress arrived at the office and I got to try it on!!
This patchwork Good Company (in stores November 2014) dress was inspired by a J.Crew silhouette and the seamstress absolutely nailed it! Not only was it super comfortable, but it ended up being super convenient during a business meeting as well. When speaking about Jennifer’s upcoming line, Good Company (did I mention it will be available in stores November 2014), I simply stood up to reveal what was to come!
What else did I do for the hour I spent in the dress? Craft and snap some selfies, of course!
