Tea time

Stop what you’re doing right now, grab yourself a cup or tea or coffee, and check out these darling tea mats Melissa Peda made over at 100 Billion Stars. Blues, pinks and big florals combine all my favorites into one easy sewing project!

Aren’t they smashing?! I can’t get enough of them. She used fabric from our newest line Caravelle Arcade. The darling pink monogram adds the perfect final touch. The best part is, these can be whipped up in a jiffy! Maybe surprise a dear friend, a favorite teacher, our invite your bestest friend over for tea and nibbley things on the back porch, and enjoy this glorious weather we are having.   Melissa was sweet enough to send me 4 of these, and I’m ever so grateful for the surprise. They really brightened up my weekend.

Quick projects that make a huge impact are one of my favorite ways to spend an afternoon. How about you? I love seeing what you’ve been up to. Don’t be shy. Share with me on Facebook or Instagram.

So much talent!!!

I tell you I can’t keep up with all the postings, but you know I sure will try!!!  Love what comes into us on facebook and I love that from the older to the newer lines we are all smitten with the allure of Sis Boom fabrics. First off I have to show those folks who may not make it to facebook for one reason or another what Judy Buchanan of Hickity Pickity (Bathing Suits for sale) has posted recently!  This tent would be home to all Sis Boom fans if we could figure out a way to transport. Am I right???

Then our good friends at Hold It Right There are having a ball with their carry alls and I mean just that..pockets for everything.  Looks like this one already sold but I’m sure she’ll take orders!! Fabric found here!
