We love the Holidays
It’s in our nature to make and we make so many things for the Holidays that we can’t even keep track. The highlight this year are the banners aka garland for trees etc.. Below is a sampling of what we do for our Holiday show. We love to see you smile when you walk through those doors. So please say you’ll come and bring a friend. We are restocking everyday so every day is a great day at Sis Boom!! Come to Mama!!

Tim Geaney
Whenever Tim comes in the house I feel so special. He’s a busy man, hugely in demand, and always so gracious. His wife is ever so busy as well with the demands of Vagabond’s Daughter. Nancy always gives 100% to me. She is make up and good cheer and adds such good humor to the day. Madeline (read about her here and her amazing services) this was her first photo shoot on her own. I was blown away… and of course the models and especially their mothers who trust us!!! Big responsibility. Stage moms don’t have it easy and Nicole Morris takes it all in stride. The children our hers. Then we brought in Laine Parsons who just yesterday was the little one trailing her older brother and sister, and look how she has blossomed. That’s the beauty in the long dark hair. I am so blessed with well-mannered, good looking children in my neighborhood!!! The best is that we have fun on set!! Tim, even as the sun sets at 4:00 and it’s dark outside, still rolls with it, even as we know natural light is always preferred. I really love this amazing team. Happy Holidays to all.

I have been making wonderful vignettes using y arsenal of vintage finds!!! I haven’t been to the flea market in a year and I think I could keep going for another year..Yes I am a hoarder of vintage items, and I am parting with them because I know they make you so happy. Remember no matter what day you come there is an abundance of items and you will be amazed!!! So when you come the coffee pot will be brewing and we have lots of goodies that Barbara Strawser is bringing so come early and stay all day!! Please, for me!! check out the colors this is what a Sis Boom Christmas looks like. I’m a girl that can’t seem to do red and green..Wassupwidat!!
Time for me
so tomorrow i go and put the natural blond back in my hair,,my daughter asked if i was painting grey right into my hair..so stopping and going to try and relax and write while I wait for the peroxide to work it’s way to my roots. I love to write so calming . The big blue signs are up , the buzz is beginning to take hold and i am so excited to see you all..I so love your enthusiasm for the handmade. If you see or know anyone from the New York Times I’ve been trying to get them to come for years. Being in the New York Times is on my bucket list..
So the elves are putting in final touches ..see you soon.

Lucky for you I have more to share..OK so you know the merit badges in Girls World well they make an incredible ornament..(my idea)..Just sayin..seriously why not???? Grab the book make copies of Vintage wrapping paper,the cards we got as kids (some of us) or old books or antique ephemera and start having a ball. Folks been asking try Ebay and Etsy under vintage ephemera!!!! Add tassels and personalize who doesn’t love an ornament specifically crafted towards themselves..No Brainer..I also use bits of old ornaments to create new ones and you can see glittered die cuts and beautiful seambinding ribbon make the world go round.Thanks for all your responses makes me want to give you more and more Sis Boom Love. Questions?? We answer them. Girls World is the best Holiday gift going and when you purchase from us you get a signed copy (worth lots of money some day) and we carefully wrap it in a piece of wonderful Sis Boom fabric to get you started making some George the Puppies. I tell you Amazon for gently used books is quite the price and I can’t compete. That book if I do say so myself is chocked full. Get your Holiday on..oh and yes indeedy I am watching.
