This shoot started with Thunder cracking and lightening bolts and everyone in the kitchen at 7am in case a tree decided to fall on the house…Poor George was shaking like a leaf..I wondered what God had in store and how we would pull it off but I just had to trust. I see now as always a need for faith in all things. Dreamy photos by a brilliant photographer and stylist. Tim Geaney and Madeline Rhodes collaborated on some sensational photos. We love to bring you cutting edge style , we are quilting fabric Fashionistas ! We just love to bring you quilts and apparel that will live on long after we are gone!!!! As you can see we have disappeared for a few days and we apologize . As a designer these are the moments that are most stressful. I want to bring you the very best of Sis Boom and that means working like crazy with the stylist (Madeline) and my seamstress (Bettyann) we go until the sunsets and as most of you know I pop up early to get the inspiration on paper. We adore you all and hate when we can’t be in touch with all of you all the time. You are what make me want to raise the bar every time. Carla is busy working on a Sis Boom pattern for all of you and we are so grateful to that very busy woman. Remember to purchase all the Scientific Seamstress classic patterns on Etsy. I did it, I announced Lucky Girl on Facebook. It’s always thrilling to launch a new line but it can be terrifying simultaneously!! You just always want everyone to be happy and that you continue to raise the bar for yourself. Achievement can never really be measured so it has to come from within. I like this line so much and know that you will have so much fun putting the designs together. You know how much I love seeing your work and if I can help you launch a little biz so you can stay home with the kids I am happy to do so!!!! So I hope you are enjoying the summer it can be difficult juggling kids and your biz but take heart in knowing it will come when you are ready and not before. Savor the notion that you are right where you are supposed to be!!

Look at what else Jessica Huizenga of Love Colorful has done for you. Those digital downloads are toooo fun for words. Something to do with the kids??? Digital downloads. They also inspire creativity and you can use it and make as many eggs that could fill the Empire State building or not. Mom’s prefer you didn’t. It’s in our nature to make and we make so many things for the Holidays that we can’t even keep track. The highlight this year are the banners aka garland for trees etc.. Below is a sampling of what we do for our Holiday show. We love to see you smile when you walk through those doors. So please say you’ll come and bring a friend. Laine rocked the Mary Fancy Sash Dress in our Girls World Book!! She’s 14 and it fits her beautifully!! I love the pink!! or should I say Candice in red! This is one to hoard. I hate when I say that sounds like I’m trying to get you to buy but that’s not it. Everyday I get inquiries on older lines that are off the shelves and it breaks my heart when I can’t help you find something. If you love a fabric try to really put some away I know folks that wait a year or two and then sell on ebay because they know the demand will be there. If it’s something you really really love get it while it’s hot. nuf said. Remember Girls World is our first book and this lovely dress can be found inside and the book includes the pattern. Makes a great Holiday Gift. Only 14 on Amazon as of right now! The value is terrific if you had to purchase all the patterns individually it would be a $60.00 book!! Thanks Laine for making our photoshoot complete and for mom and dad to trust us with her!!
