It’s the official launch of Bettyann and Vanessa. I just have to say I love all the photos on facebook!! OMG please follow us on facebook it’s like a big Par-tay up in there. Our friend Alyson Ray of Thread in Tuscumbia, Alabama gets to launch these in her brick and mortar!! Yes we said PDF patterns in brick and mortar !! Alyson has been testing our new coupon system in her store and is teaching folks the basics of printing and sewing with PDF’s!! She can sell you a coupon to enable you to download a pattern and have it accessible to you when you get home and are ready to print. Alyson thank you for being the wonderful passionate woman you are, we are so crazy about you!! She will have it before Thanksgiving and we will launch on Black Friday!!!! Sorry about the intermittent blogging I’ve got so much to do!!! I love handmade at the Holidays. Thanks for your lovely thoughts for my mama, she is feeling way better and hope is on the horizon. If you’ll excuse me I’ll plug Happy Home for a Holiday Gift for the next couple of months until I’ve sold every last one!!! (I wish) I wonder what you are all creating for the Holidays show me on Sis Boom facebook because I love to share in your creations. We also need to have a raffle soon, so next week we’ll do something about that. Good cheer my friends. Think about handmade and made in the USA , we certainly do!! Hugs to all!! As you know we are getting ready for our annual show coming up Dec. 13, 14,15th that Thursday, Friday, Saturday. So I just want to say I’m in the speed lane of crafting and enjoying my time immensely in the craft room. My husband Peter and my assistant Madeline are making it so nice for me so that I ‘m free to create 100’s of items for the show so from October to December I don’t look up hardly. But as crafters all know something amazingly divine happens when we are in the zone. It’s a magical time and I have so many ideas and those ideas breed new ideas so there is no time to despair. I hope you all our well I’ve been thinking so much about the Sandy victims and praying for them and trying to do what I can. Before I leave you I wanted to show you the Vanessa and Bettyann ready to be launched in two short weeks and it’s a very exciting time. This is one of the last items in our book Happy Home to be done and then all the clothes in the book will be patterns.!!! Thank you Carla for making this all come to life. You are the best!

What you are about to see is brilliance!! Rachael Daisy has been creating the most beautiful of quilt hexegons and I just had to bring them to your attention. These just get everyone ooohing and ahhing ..they are like little museum pieces. Each one just will blow you away with the intricacy of design they create on their own. Like Kaleidoscope images you just can’t wait to see come together. These use quite a bit of vintage Sis Boom which if you are lucky can grab on ebay or Etsy.. Just search Jennifer Paganelli Fabrics. Check out the very inspiring Monique Reynolds who single handedly has helped me win over the state of California!!! The most prolific quilter and one of the happiest folks I know keeps spinning it all into gold!! With her sneak previews she keeps us all in suspense all the time so we are so grateful when the reveal finally occurs and she never disappoints. Everything is a winner and this is going to make you want to get fat quarters of Happy Land and start to sew! Thanks to Hancocks of Paducah you can do just that check out all the wonderful pre-packs they have!! and omg I just found out this was for sale at an amazing price!!!! We LOVE the idea of Using Happy Land’s Madison & Eloise in this room for upholstering purposes, curtains, or smaller, homemade pillow accents! The options… endless.
With a few more accents here and there from Anthropologie, and Urban Outfitters it just feels complete. It’s lacking a desk, yes, but we made sure to include the important stuff.. accessories, pattern & texture! If you don’t have a special creative nook in your home, we urge you to borrow our ideas and make that happen for yourself. Your deserve it!

First up the lovely Renae Utay Wims of Fluffy Girl Boutique on ETSY has done and incredible job with Happy Land. Love this patchwork assembly!! Such a work of art! Her Etsy shop is so colorful and filled with magical Frocks that girls love to wear!! Then we have Alana Kelly from Yumminess Textiles who we have showcased before from Australia and because Australia is a huge demographic for us we want you to get to know Alana and follow her Fairs because she does beautiful work. Meet Jenny, I finally got to meet this wonderful lady at Quilt market and she really is such a special girl. A real girls girl!! We are blessed with wonderful internet connections of so many like minded people. They are such amazing connections. But then you get to meet them in real life and they are everything and more. Jenny you have become such an amazing friend and I thank God for you daily!! I love the two fabrics together. SuperFly is just the best for everything!!
