Hi Everyone!
As I previously mentioned, my professional background includes putting together bedding collections. In fact, long before I joined Sis Boom, I was using Jennifer’s lines to make duvets, sheet sets, dust ruffles, upholstered headboards, toss pillows, curtains and more! While my mind automatically sees a large scale floral and thinks “duvet,” you guys turn the same exact print into the most beautiful clothing, quilts, aprons, shower curtains, etc. I have ever seen! I am CONSTANTLY blown away by your creativity. Since you have been so gracious in sharing your creations with us, I’d thought I’d share with you how my mind views a brand new Jennifer Paganelli collection. And speaking of brand new, I will be using fabrics that can be found in her upcoming “Good Company” line to be released in November 2014.

Another great suggestion is using a large bold pattern for an upholstered headboard like these:
and use a combination of solid colors found in the print as your duvet!

So imagine my surprise when I saw lovely images of this beautiful woman in a dress she created using our Border print from Beauty Queen (Valerie) in her dress design. I almost fell off my chair when I got to see her vision in real time. Exquisite. border prints can go a long way but you have to be inspired, you have to know what they can be used for and we think Paisley Farm did an incredible job!! You will be so stuck on her blog!! She does it all so well!!!! Sofia lives in Las Vegas , Nevada and her blog is so inspirational. She loves Floral fabric so I would say she really gets me. I am so excited for you to meet her and see her beautiful dress that I know will make you swoon. I took the same border print and used it on my antique bed as a covering and I just love the results so whatever the use just know you can’t go wrong with a border print..heavenly ideas await you! So be sure to follow Sofia Moore on her blog and Facebook page, we are hoping she does it in other colorways. This is very much like our Angie so I expect to see some of those being created. I love you guys, I love all the chatter and the laughter you bring. I love all your Sis Boom Sightings and your love of all things colorful. You all make me so happy. Carol Van Zandt, Kristi from Schnitzel and Boo and yours truly are on the wonderful Modern Sewciety Podcast. Stephanie Kendron does extremely fun interviews and I’m so glad she made me a part of her very special format!! I am fortunate because she is a Sis Boomer and not afraid to emote!! Thanks for loving what we do! We also have a surprise gift for everyone inside the podcast. I love me a podcast because I can do it while I’m working and I so enjoy hearing peoples voices. You can tell so much by listening about a person. Stephanie is cozy, she has a wonderful warmth about her that begs you to over share. I so enjoyed her and feel like old BFF’s. So sit back or multitask like I do and have fun with it..We put a surprise inside for all you fabulous listeners.

Ok it’s no secret. I just love her heart and her ability to make you feel welcome and part of something great. She is so super excited about life, about love, about quilts!! Most of you know her through her show Quilty on PBS. Recently I had the good fortune to meet Mary when she came to my home about two months ago and I tell you It was if I knew her my whole lifetime. It was girl talk central and I just so enjoyed her company As well as my all around Gal Pal Susan Morgan who introduced us. Believe me an overnight was not out of the question but they had plans the next day. …. I pictured us in (what else) Pajamas getting CRay CRay. What can I say? I actually had the opportunity to fly to Iowa yup with Springs Creative for the Jenny Eliza Brand for JoAnns Fabric and Craft and tape a PBS show for Fons and Porter..yes!! in the same exact room as Marianne Fons and Liz Porter, I know I know I know…so giddy and trying to act professional when inside I was like Check Me Out!!!!! So Mary has just come out with an amazing Quilt Book called Make + Love Quilts and will be signing May 20th at City Quilter in NYC from 6-8!! That’s a big deal and a big honor for anyone. She is so approachable so fun and so easy to be with oh and did I say her quilts are divine?? I meant to open with that. Please go to her facebook watch her gorilla marketing style video for Make + Love Quilts and her opening a fedex package with her book inside and then you will see why I love her so much. Like all of us in the SisBoomer Jenny Eliza Family we know how to have fun…Fabric and quilts just make us fun to be with!! Oh and get a daily dose of Mary at her blog PaperGirl !
