Itching to make something crafty, simple and fun for your home? Don’t have time to run out and shop for all of the pieces?! Well, then, you’re totally in luck.
All you’ve gotta do is download this nifty PDF (either by clicking here, or on the images below), cut out the shapes, string them together and VIOLA!
It’s seriously simple:
- click on the image below to download the PDF file. (It will download to your downloads folder)
- open and print pages on card stock or glossy photo paper for that extra oomph
- cut out banner pieces – either “free cut”, use a 2 1/8″ circle punch, or a flower punch if you have one! We love all shapes!
- assemble to your heart’s desire either by gluing circles back to back with yarn or bakery twine in-between using a hot glue gun (supervised by an adult), OR punch small holes on outer edges of circles and knot the bakery twine to each circle, ultimately connecting them all in a pretty pattern!
Hang this sweet garland in a doorway, above a mantel, in your window, or even gift it to that special someone.
HAVE FUN!
Peep Jen’s Garlands! She used a flower punch, ribbon and yarn, making 2 separate garlands:
So Thankful!!!
Thank you all for making Thanksgiving so special, you remind me everyday to be grateful even if you are just scared to put a zipper in. I get it and my new motto is “step into it” . I don’t want to be scared because most of my fears always come out with the same outcome….”that wasn’t so bad” . You all teach me to go for it!! I’m amazed at some of the hard stuff you walk through..’yikes’ but together we can do the unthinkable. I just love you all for trying. So here’s to you!! Love through the season. I’ll be thinking of you. xo Jennifer

Lazy Lazy Girl
I’ve neglected my blog and the work is piling up!! Please forgive me. I devote so much time to sewing these days and I really need to get on the stick? ..off the stick? and why a stick? Anywho I miss you all and I’ve wanted to share with you the greatest project I did this summer …I mean we. Katies boyfriend Berto painted the dresser below with Annie Sloans Napoleonic Blue Chalk Paint, forget the paint, that name sends me to the moon!!! I knew I had to have it and yes pricey for a pint but I still have a 1/2 a can left!!! This woman is brilliant, her colors are fabulous and the videos and tips on various sites and youtube make the whole thing go quite quickly. I want to paint everything this color just so I can say Napoleonic Blue..feels so noble..Royal!! So take a look and tell her I sent you. Not that she’ll care or even know who I am….So inhale this beautiful dresser if you like.. The knobs are from Anthropologie but a little to transparant..not showing up..so I painted the back white so no light could shine through and now they pop!!! So I promise from here on forward not to neglect my Blog duties but please say you’ll keep coming..xoxoxo Oh and sweet boy George was such a big help!
PS this has nothing to do with chalkboard paint..
