Beauty Queen, for the beauty we put in the world. I love to arrange, I love to see pretty. I love to see color and pattern play with one another. I love stripes and Roses and I love designing fabrics. But what I love most is your signature, your sensibility, and how you interpret and create with these fabrics. Beauty Queen is for what we do, the legacy we leave, the hearts we touch, the things that truly matter. Beauty Queen is about self confidence and emerging into the person we were meant to be. We are all Beauty Queens, we are all relevant, we are all adored, we are all loved. Beauty Queen is a state of mind, the flowers and extra petals is for road to finding you. I really mean it.

One of my favorite folks is in the very first US Edition of Mollie Makes and she utilized Beauty Queen in the sweetest of ways..Look at these Yummy sachets. Kim Layton is just the kindest and sweetest girl on the planet. Truth be told she had 20,000 followers on twitter and she actually acknowledged me when I reached out. Sometimes folks can get way to important about the numbers and the followers and forget they are actually real people following them. I think its so important to acknowledge folks cause really people all want to be seen. I have never forgotten her for that. We have become good friends and I love how she educates Etsy sellers on her blog Everything Etsy and shows ways for sellers to showcase and promote their product. She and her husband do tutorials and sort through all the Etsy information to bring you ways to reach your Etsy audience. They are just a couple of good folks and I was so happy they were in Mollie Makes first US edition. So get your copy and pour through the wonderful inspiring pages of Mollie Makes found here.

Ok, we couldn’t help it with the title– but you see what we did there, right?!
So, take a basic tote and cut out some cool geometric shapes. Here we imagined circles. Other ideas can include diamonds, rectangles, squares etc.. Here we’ve used Lucky Girl… SOON we will all be able to use Beauty Queen.. (we can’t wait a minute longer!)
Use a fabric glue or adhesive backing to tack these puppies onto a tote in a simple pattern. In minutes you can go from a basic tote… to a tote-ally awesome tote. Share you pics with us on facebook!

What do you get when you cross the Betty Ann PDF pattern with Beauty Queen‘s Valerie and Katie Stripe?! One good lookin dress!
Clearly we have our Betty Ann in a sassy pink zebra, below, but we’re now imagining it in array of stripes with a contrasting strap.
What beauty Queen fabric would you use for your Betty Ann?!
