A favorite personality of the Quilting World is Melissa Stramel , She is simply put..Lovely. She has no idea that I am a big admirer of her work and love for life. She is one of the loveliest folks I have found and she is going after her dreams which is always a positive message to carry to others. The Beloved pattern is hugely popular but because her daughter requested a ball gown she made some changes and added a couple of things and voila, she has reinvented the pattern for her daughters whimsy and now so can you! Purchase the pattern here. We love her use of Happy Land found at Hancock’s of Paducah. Just a reminder Happy Land is moving fast to make room for Circa so don’t delay your decision. Getting harder to find. Melissa thanks for delighting the world with frills and fancy!!!!

I can’t get over the beauty you are all creating with Circa!! You have all been so patient so loving so supportive of one another, sharing and giving yardage away to help another quilter or passionate sewist! You are all making me so happy and I can’t get over how many lovely people knock on my FB page everyday. You are all so delightful and you know I love seeing those pretties you are sewing. I don’t have to tell you the word on the street about Circa and it all started here by listening to your requests and at the same time upholding the Sis Boom Legacy of Happy!!
So check these out. Another one of our Aussie friends is creating to die for sunsuits that are just dreamy! Lil Luscious on facebook needs to get more in stock because she does it so well. Serenity Worell you are making our day!!!!

Here they come our new pillows and we will let you know the retailers that will be carrying them. You saw the ones in Happy Home and for those of you who don’t sew we decided to make them available and boy are we glad we did. The outpouring of love on facebook is a good indication that we scored. My Girlfriend Jennifer at Earth Angels Studios will be a good place to start May 1st! We are so excited by their debut..we are talking HAPPY!!!! You can also create these in our book Happy Home with any word/s you like. Please note do to overstock issues their are plenty of books under new on Amazon with much better pricing..just FYI That’s one of the best sewing books ever. ( I’ve been known to exaggerate.)

Look at these beautiful bubble Rompers from Presley Grey a new boutique on FB. FB lit up like a switchboard when she posted these beauties. She is the wonderful that took this wonderful fabric design and used it’s proportions to perfection. We are blown away by the outcome and are certain she will have no hard time selling these when the bell goes of Monday Morning. These fabrics are around but being eaten up like mad so please make sure you hoard. I don’t say that lightly in true Sis Boom obsession style we have friends bidding on a retired Sis Boom classics for upwards of $100.00 + per yard..not kidding I won’t even post the fabric for fear they will come for me and my family!! :)) Seriously it gives me a big head but that’s about it. We are loving Suzanna McKeon’s work her sweet handbags are just the perfect accessory! But what we love more than anything are the successes you all have!! She facebooked us to tell us that her bags will be selling in a museum shop!!! Not any museum shop the Esse Purse Museum in Little Rock, Arkansas! We are so happy that they will be carrying her wonderful Girls bags!! Check out her Etsy shop and be amazed. Congrats lovely lady!!! So happy for you!!

Maura Madden and Jessica Pigza from Crafternoon have invited us to teach a garland class on one of their get together’s and we couldn’t be more excited…..meeting crafters in NYC is the ultimate exchange. Maura Madden also has an incredible book on Amazon called Crafternoon and both have been on Martha Stewart show so this is going to be lots of fun!!! Such a big city and hard to find like minded crafters unless you are at an event like this. We are also going to be giving one lucky person a copy of Happy Home!! So if you are in the vicinity please come and let us know you will be attending. We love to keep track of all of you!! Sometimes when I get a heads up that you’ll be there I keep you on my radar and then get a chance to hug you in person. So today’s post is garlands and just enjoy the process. See you in NYC !! Let me know . I lived in NYC for 12 years so this is like going home!! So grateful for the opportunity!!
