This shoot started with Thunder cracking and lightening bolts and everyone in the kitchen at 7am in case a tree decided to fall on the house…Poor George was shaking like a leaf..I wondered what God had in store and how we would pull it off but I just had to trust. I see now as always a need for faith in all things. Dreamy photos by a brilliant photographer and stylist. Tim Geaney and Madeline Rhodes collaborated on some sensational photos. I did it, I announced Lucky Girl on Facebook. It’s always thrilling to launch a new line but it can be terrifying simultaneously!! You just always want everyone to be happy and that you continue to raise the bar for yourself. Achievement can never really be measured so it has to come from within. I like this line so much and know that you will have so much fun putting the designs together. You know how much I love seeing your work and if I can help you launch a little biz so you can stay home with the kids I am happy to do so!!!! So I hope you are enjoying the summer it can be difficult juggling kids and your biz but take heart in knowing it will come when you are ready and not before. Savor the notion that you are right where you are supposed to be!!

Grab a copy of Girls World so when Circa gets here you will be able to create the Josie and all the other pretty dresses with those romantic fabrics called Circa!!!..Oh I can’t wait to see…HOLLA!!!!!!!!!!! See you here in May when it begins to ship..while I’m thinking of it please hoard your faves in Happy Land. I am definitely a fabric pusher but everyday we get folks looking for discontinued fabric so if you see it..buy it!!! That’s how fast they move off the shelves and make way for new collections.

I like to do things that are a bit funky for Halloween. Spray paint a suitcase black and just go nuts on it!! Makes a great backdrop for your bewitching table. Then there is always a need to change up a party hat so you can have a rather ghoulish time doing that. Have a party, a candy corn party and keep it light no need to be ultra scary for the wee ones. As you know from reading my books, I love romance. I love creating items that you want to surround yourself with. I love to pretty up and I love to use them as whimsy and I love the reactions to things that are created from Happy Home to elicit ooohs and ahhhs. This basket is just one of the items in my home that get folks buzzing and I love that. So it had to be part of Happy Home. Yes it takes time and a whole lot of flowers but it is art and it has merit by just making me all gooey inside. I love pretty and that’s why most of us take to the internet to find the pretty in this world. So grab your copy of Happy Home get a cozy corner and dream, fantasize let it be your starting place, cover a wall with flowers. My books are intended to let you be inspired and I love all the places and next levels you take from these books. Maybe these will be inspiration for your books.
