Circa has arrived!

Now that most of you have Circa in your hands, our favorite thing to do is watch you work your magic. Diamonds, hexies, fussy cutting, little dresses… watching Circa come to life is a dream! Our dear friend, Melissa P over at 100 Billion Stars, made this wondrous quilt. Soft, sweet, playful and charming.

We love what Melissa says about Circa,

“The collection brings a fresh wave of nostalgia for simpler times and days gone by; but for hard core Sis Boom fans, the collection looks back on some of Jennifer’s first fabric collections…. From initial reactions, Circa promises to be just as timeless and popular….”

A Sis Boom Cottage!

Fresh cut flowers, a warm breeze, lemonade in your hand, and your feet up on a soft, handcrafted quilt. The curtains billow in the air as a Summer breeze passes through, and you dream of your next sewing project… A pillow? A table cloth? A satchel?… all things that make your life just a little bit sweeter. You’re in a Sis Boom cottage, and it’s perfectly balanced between a soft, whimsy sensibility and a sleek modern spin… Somewhere in the middle of those two worlds is where Sis Boom lies. Pom poms and cotton meet glitter and sheen to create a welcoming, happy, inspiring place for you and your family to dream, love and play.

Lyn Harris creates a Stunning Circa Quilt

Want to see something so incredibly beautiful?! Lay your eyes on this magnificent Circa quilt created by our friend Lynn Harris, over at The Little Red Hen.

Circa is so soft to the eyes, so graceful, peaceful, and so perfectly saturated just where it needs to be. Our Circa feedback has been incredible- we can’t wait to see what all of you talented lovelies pull off with this exciting line. Have an awesome day!

It’s Circa, baby!

Hi everyone!

Madeline speaking! SO pumped to be up in hurr on the blog these past few days. Jen has been uber busy in her craft room. Not sure what she’s up to, but when she comes downstairs she is COVERED in glitter. Hmmm.

So. Let’s talk Circa.. I’ve been dying to see a Circa quilt and kinda of  wanted to see one NOW.. I decided to build a virtual quilt, and please… don’t judge…  Admitting that the process made me sort of dizzy, and I’m not sure if my scale is anywhere near correct.. but I kinda like it!

Now I wish I had it in front of me so I could wrap myself up and have Sis Boom day dreams! Clearly I don’t have quilting talents– Let me just put it out there– I so admire all of you beautiful, talented quilters who whip of magic every day. Will you accept my virtual quilting capabilities? Please? (Someone say yes)

Happy Sunday ! Be cozy, be warm, be happy!

OK OK.. so maybe I made two quilts.. Pull my leg, why dontcha.. This one was created using what I found to be called the yankee doodle something? Is that right?!

OH SO SPECIAL Sis Boom Friends

It’s the last day of our Sis Boom sale, and we’re so grateful to all of you that have made this sale what it is. Without you there would be no magic, no love, no spirit!

Meet Joan, our dear friend, who’s helped us glitter our way through these past few weeks! She has been a critical helping hand in pumping out all of these handmade (with love) ornaments. Joan also has some very special creations of her own, right up at the front table… these awesome little boxes made with our favorite Sis Boom fabrics!!! Joan hand crafted each and every little box with such care. Each is topped with a little button. Perfect homes for precious sayings (as pictured), or a pair of earrings.. if it fits, it’s perfect! And folks have been snatching these up for gifts!

Another Sis Boom friend– meet Gracie!! As we were getting started this morning, awesome Gracie walked in with her friend Stephanie (and their furry friend, Stella!!).. and then Gracie shared with us a quilt she’s been working on… and to say that we were LOVING IT is an understatement. Gracie has clearly been hard at work building this beautiful quilt and we can’t wait to see it as a finished product! Gracie, don’t forget to come back and show us! Way to go!! Seeing Sis Boom fabrics being used, especially by special Gracie, makes our day! Really! SO BEAUTIFUL!!!

Crazy for Crazy Love

Coo Coo for Cocoa Puffs!!  just felt like saying that.  Will you look at what Miss Lynn Harris of The Little Red Hen has come up with for Crazy Love??? Again not to tease or inflict longing in your hearts just preparing you for what’s to come.  All the women I highlight here are willing to share their expertise and can give you directions on how to complete these quilts.  4 talented quilters were given the opportunity to express themselves with Crazy Love and I promise you they will not disappoint!!  Lynn Harris has shown us how to work in solids to calm some of these loud coloration’s!!  I think it’s genius!  Last time I showed you Monique’s wonderful quilt appearing here again to jog your memory.
