Queen Street Challenge Winners are in….

Roll out the red carpet and get that drum roll going…

And, before we continue, a sincere thank you to everyone who participated in our Queen Street Challenge! Everything you sent our way was truly beautiful!!!

Our winners all did an amazing job and totally took it to the next level!!!

Our first winner,(in no particular order), is the lovely Jenny Fish, of Sew Pretty Dresses. She made this beautiful little dress, which will translate beautifully from season to season. So sweet and practical all at once! .. and SO adorable! Way to go!!!! (pssst – see that tablecloth in the background?!) love it!

Our second winner has essentially created an entire wardrobe! How awesome to see Queen Street as an ensemble like this?! So beautiful… plus, it’s like a little Sis Boom par-tay with the most adorable little girl ever!!! SWEET! Way to go, Judy Buchanin of Hickity-Pickity!!

Our third winner did something really fabulous.. By rearranging and piecing back together, she created a whole new design! It has a floral feel to it and totally works beautifully! We love this creativity!! way to go, Melissa P of 100 Billion Stars!!!

(Ok, Ok.. so maybe George was only supposed to pick 3 winners.. well, he picked 4.. He couldn’t help himself, he said!!!)

Our fourth winner, Aunt Spicy, designed a very special quilt with some Queen Street that her mother gifted her during the holidays (What an awesome Mom!)… How precious is this?! The backing is Casey Scroll. sigh. we love Casey.

Sis Boom Sighting…on an island…

Leave it to our lovely, talented Friend and uber inspiration, Kate Spain, to have another Sis Boom sighting. Her other recent sighting was in this beautiful shoppe window… the one she emailed us with today takes the cake in our ” tropical Sis Boom Sightings” department…

Kate spotted our Sis Boom Back Bay pillow… in St. John!!!! How fun is that!! To know that a little piece of Sis Boom is in St. John makes us so happy (and warm!)

and, no, of course we haven’t forgotten the Queen Street Challenge!! Winner will be announced within the next few hours! George has some reviewing to do!… everyone’s submissions were stunning!

Sneak Peak, No Longer! Honey Child is LOUD AND PROUD!

Notice anything different on our fabric page?! A Lil’ Honey Child action not only in lifestyle quilting fabric, but also 4 laminates!! WOOP WOOP! This brand new line won’t be available ’til May, but let’s all get excited!!

We are So thrilled with Honey Child and its perfect burst of color, which will make these gloomy gray days fade into the background. Our brains are already racing with Honey Child ideas!..

We will be at the May Quilt Market in Utah, when this will be released, and Carla will be there to give you some great ideas and tips!! What do you all think? xo

DIY Queen Street Garland!

Print these babies out and cut those circles out (or if you have a 2″ hole punch, it will work beautifully). Glue them back to back with a piece of string or twine between the circles!

Hang your sweet banner over a doorway, over your bed, over the table, or anywhere else your hearts desire! Have fun and send us photos!
