So maybe you’ve been hearing here there and everywhere about wonderful Sis Boom friends receiving Girl’s World badges from us… and Let us explain, because this is a truly exciting and wonderful concept..
So many amazing, wonderful people have been writing in about Girl’s World.. comments that make our hearts smile and let us know we’re on the right path.. our Sis Boom friends & fans are LOVING the book. With that being said, many people, along with Jennifer’s suggestions, have shared with us their fabulous plans to teach a Girl’s World class– to their friends, daughter’s friends, Brownie troups, etc.
It’s a THRILL to watch the Girl’s World vibe spread from community to community, and we hope you’ll join us in spreading the love! Check out pics from this class that our dear friend Jenny just taught…!!!!!
If this idea excites you and seems like something that could really create a special moment for you and a group of sweet little girls, let us know by emailing us HERE, and we will mail you the correct amount of Sis Boom buttons (We’re trying to stick as close to or less than 10 buttons per class, as to make sure everyone gets them!). They read, “Living a Girl’s World!” and they couldn’t be happier!

So how fabulous is this… The wonderful folks over at The Charity Wedding contacted us a little while ago regarding Jennifer’s beautious burlap hearts. One thing led to the next and this week …. they’re having a Girl’s World giveaway on their blog!!!
We’re really excited about the concept of Girl’s World for DIY weddings… It may seem confusing at first, but hear us out and we promise you’ll see that it makes perfect sense.
Dress patterns, garlands, DIY pillows, fabric flowers, tablecloths and so much more… need we say more? It’s just full of creative options for bridesmaid gifts, decorations, and flower girl accessories. Imagine sewing your own flower girl dresses, crafting floral headbands, or creating a special little ring pillow?? How about a Just Married garland, or a tablecloth of your favorite fabric for your rehearsal dinner? The list goes on!
So, if you’re someone who figured she couldn’t enjoy the projects from Girl’s World because you don’t have a little girl… think again!
Thanks, Charity Wedding, for the awesome shout out and for helping us elaborate on the DIY wedding possibilities of Girl’s World!!

As many of you know, and some may not, we are excitedly awaiting our next line, West Indies!!!! We promise to have it up on the site asap, but in the meantime, enjoy this bit of eye candy by our dear friend Nancy Geaney.
Would you all take a look at this amazing West Indies Quilt she created?!??!
This quilt is called the Voodoo magic quilt, and it’s obvious why– Yes, those pieces that look like they’re popping off the quilt actually are! Nancy is quite the quilt magician.
Nancy, you’ve really outdone yourself this time! Can’t you just see yourself sipping a tall glass of lemonade whilst sitting on this quilt, picnic style?! We can too!
Read Nancy’s Blog post, as she shares her inspiration for the quilt, a fun technique she used for the quilt, and where you can see a video tutorial as to make something like this at home!
