Sis Boom Fabric featured on the Today Show! woop woop!

Hi All! Madeline speaking here! I wanna share a fun little something with you… (some of you may already know about it…)

This morning Jennifer and I were [working, of course] and some TV happened to be in the background – I promise we weren’t watching it… until… something suddenly looked so familiar….. During a Today Show segment, Daily Candy‘s Dannielle Kyrillos was sharing her love for cute ways to be that Hostess with the Mostess.

One way, Dannielle explains, to be that happy, fun, hostess is to don a unique, special apron…. and there they were…. Two aprons… One made with Sis Boom Pretty Please’s Amanda Fleur, and another made with So St. Croix’s Nancy … right there on our tube! We had a little celebratory moment… (or a big one)… and just felt so lucky.

Where can you get these adorable aprons? Well, this lovely website, the Hip Hostess, offers a plethora of awesome aprons, and among those you will see some in Jennifer’s So St. Croix Nancy Fucshia and Jennifer’s Pretty Please Amanda Fleur Black … awesome!

Take a peep at the entire segment HERE

Have you seen any Sis Boom sightings? We’ve had a few this week! What fun! Couldn’t do it without all of you!

xoxoxo Madeline

My Honey Bunch

This is in our Kitchen sometimes I forget it’s there and someone will read it and say ..”oh I love that”  Sometimes husbands and wives live in parallel universes when we go about our days and folks may not even link us up if they were to meet us separately .  You all know I don’t really go the way of personal maybe because my life is an open book  so when it comes to writing I’m all about supporting others and helping others cause that’s what I love to do.   Some days though there is just so much to be grateful for and it starts right here with my husband and I .  We’ve lived and loved through so much and our relationship is stronger because of it.  These are extraordinary times and I’m just grateful to have someone in the trenches that supports and loves me know matter what. I hope all of you have someone in your life that gives you all the time in the world to grow and inspires you to be better.  Just sayin….

Enter Kelsey

Kelsey belongs to Jenny, that’s Jenny with a J (not kidding) from Sew Pretty Dresses and boy does she.  Jenny is on a mission to make Sis Boom the largest brand since Lilly Pulitzer and I am totally supportive of that.  What I love about Jenny is that she literally sequels (we can hear her) when she sees anything new from Sis Boom or has a Sis Boom Sighting or opens her packages from SB.  BTW Jenny in Home Goods yesterday my girlfriend Nuala called with a Sis Boom Sighting of our apron!!!! I bet Jenny stuck it there!!!  So anyways lots going on here getting ready to raffle some fat quarters of Queen Street!!! I tell you not much gets done without sweet Madeline. She is the Boom in Sis Boom. I almost forgot…Melanie Thorton from Above All Fabric has the entire line of Queen Street as does Marie Madeline Studio..that’s right entire line..how awesome is that…Cheers to you guys!!!!!

Featuring your faves!!!

We have Melissa to thank for this sweet purse which will be a tutorial on her site at some future time and Aunt Spicy for the wonderful quilt with contrasting white squares and Monique for the adorable purpaly (a new descriptive word from Sis Boom) goodness on the dresser, which if you are lucky will be available in her etsy shop… All three of these gals make my world a fun place to be.  Thanks always for the Sis Boom love because I know you guys are infectious.
