Time For Positive Change!

Being that January is the Sis Boom month for renewal and loving oneself, we want to help you all conquer those itty bitty tasks that have been looming over your heads for months. Simple things, like, you know, organizing your jewelry, writing letters to renew friendships, reading that book you’ve been dying to get your hands on… you get the point.

Our fun idea is to print our this cute, simple template and use it to write your to do list, or goal list down. Set it on your desk and add to it as needed. Hopefully the Queen Street Madeline will cheer you up and encourage you to forge ahead. Reach all your goals? Print out this puppy and write a note to a friend or family member just to say hey!

So sweet and practical all at once! .. and SO adorable! Way to go!!!! (pssst – see that tablecloth in the background?!) love it!

Our second winner has essentially created an entire wardrobe! How awesome to see Queen Street as an ensemble like this?! So beautiful… plus, it’s like a little Sis Boom par-tay with the most adorable little girl ever!!! SWEET! Way to go, Judy Buchanin of Hickity-Pickity!!

Our third winner did something really fabulous.. By rearranging and piecing back together, she created a whole new design! It has a floral feel to it and totally works beautifully! We love this creativity!! way to go, Melissa P of 100 Billion Stars!!!

(Ok, Ok.. so maybe George was only supposed to pick 3 winners.. well, he picked 4.. He couldn’t help himself, he said!!!)

Our fourth winner, Aunt Spicy, designed a very special quilt with some Queen Street that her mother gifted her during the holidays (What an awesome Mom!)… How precious is this?! The backing is Casey Scroll. sigh. we love Casey.

DIY Queen Street Garland!

Print these babies out and cut those circles out (or if you have a 2″ hole punch, it will work beautifully). Glue them back to back with a piece of string or twine between the circles!

Hang your sweet banner over a doorway, over your bed, over the table, or anywhere else your hearts desire! Have fun and send us photos!

From Fat Quarters to a Beautiful Masterpiece

It just amazes me what people can create from a stack of fat quarters. To have the vision, the will, and the patience to sit down and design something so perfect and so lovely is simply magic. Take  a peep at this stunning Queen Street quilt designed by a dear friend, Victoria Findlay of Bumble Beans. We’re loving the shape that the center took on, as it is festive and reminds us a bit of the Holiday, which is just hours away at this point!

Sending you all peace during these last few crazy days of shopping, wrapping and stressing! I hope each and every one of you can find some time for yourselves to sit back, relax, and take some deep, peaceful breaths! Do it right now if you haven’t!

What Sis Boom World looks like…

Hi everyone! The Sis Boom house is full of vibrant, excited, lovely, guests, and for those of you who couldn’t make it to our Big Sale we wanted to give you a sneak peak!

We wish we could have a Big Sis Boom Sale in each and every one of your home states so you could all join us… maybe some day…. but until then, I ran around snapping shots of the beautiful decor Jennifer created, the awesome fabrics being put to use, the lovely women here helping us out today (our dear Nancy Geaney being one of them! How lucky are we!), and well, the world of Sis Boom so you could get a good taste!

Jennifer is glowing [with glitter] and happiness and is so grateful to have such a fun experience. She sends huge hugs to you all.

Jen screaming, "No paparazzi, Please!!!!"

When Molly looked at our blog this morning with her Mommy she whispered, "Pretty Things!".. She also came here looking for George! We <3 Molly!

Don’t forget to enter our awesome raffle!!!!

Lots of love xo

Personalized buttons!!

Leave it to the uber talented and creative Melissa P. of A Hundred Billion Stars to design buttons in the same color scheme as our blues in Queen Street!!!

Frustrated with the lack of cool, funky, matchy buttons on the market, Melissa took it upon herself to make….yes, make, her own polymer buttons! She explains her cool little tricks to achieve the perfect button in this post, so go check it out!

In another post, Melissa makes adorable ornaments, which double as gift toppers. She stacks 3 yo yo’s (of varying size) and tops it all off with a bell and a custom button. How cute!

Thanks, Melissa for your Queen Street inspiration! We just LOVE it!

Enter Kelsey

Kelsey belongs to Jenny, that’s Jenny with a J (not kidding) from Sew Pretty Dresses and boy does she.  Jenny is on a mission to make Sis Boom the largest brand since Lilly Pulitzer and I am totally supportive of that.  What I love about Jenny is that she literally sequels (we can hear her) when she sees anything new from Sis Boom or has a Sis Boom Sighting or opens her packages from SB.  BTW Jenny in Home Goods yesterday my girlfriend Nuala called with a Sis Boom Sighting of our apron!!!! I bet Jenny stuck it there!!!  So anyways lots going on here getting ready to raffle some fat quarters of Queen Street!!! I tell you not much gets done without sweet Madeline. She is the Boom in Sis Boom. I almost forgot…Melanie Thorton from Above All Fabric has the entire line of Queen Street as does Marie Madeline Studio..that’s right entire line..how awesome is that…Cheers to you guys!!!!!
