an official title for one of our most prolific designers.  I love what Melissa P. of 100 Billion Stars is doing these days. She’s creating new designs from Existing designs by fussy cutting and now adding a third dimension with buttons.  I am totally enamored of these beauties. They just have such style to them.  Melissa has amazing ideas and I like to share them with our readers.  All of you are so creative and we love to learn here at Sis Boom. It’s a Sis Boom SUMMER!!

Happy Summer! It’s hard to believe that it’s already July … Before we know it, October will be here!… What?! Why would we mention October?!… Well, we have some really fun pillows coming out mid-October… the Barcelona Collection!! With a little love from fab.com gardening tools, a sweet IKEA outdoor chair, a tall glass of crisp lemonade.. and, last but not least, a Sis Boom Rosetta bag, don’t you want to get in on this?!

We LOVE these pillows for the Summer, but they will also translate beautifully to an Autumn setting. We couldn’t wait until then to share them with you, so we had to get creative and show you what we were thinking on this hot Summer night. Now, imagine those same pillows with a cozy throw on a fluffy white couch?! Carved pumpkins on the stoop, apple pie on the table… Sis Boom says that Autumn can be greens, oranges, blues and pinks.. it doesn’t have to be all about orange and brown.. not for us!

Ok, enough about October! Just enjoy these as eye candy right now, and we will be sure to let you know when they are available on the market. Have a fabulous Summer night!

Died and gone to Sis Boom Heaven!

Do you believe this?? I just discovered this shop Kenilworth Place on Etsy and I am head over heels with their fabric choices.  🙂 Seriously we sell pillows this size for 3 times more so if you have something coming up, some event you want to make pretty this price point will convince you to dress the place up!!!  These pillows are gorgeous and use some of the very rare hard to find fabrics from Sis Boom.  Kenilworth, Hats off !! You beguile the imagination. Seriously amazing prices for 16 x 16 !!! Seriously  three pillows makes such a statement and at these prices fuggettaboudit !!

She does it for the love of it

I love how Stephanie Danko of Tabbo Designs surrounds herself in Happy Sis Boom fabric.  For the girls, for her home, for her accessories.  She lives it and has fun.  I love how her girls look so carefree in the skirts she creates for them.  Her girls have made George the puppy from Girls World and she just keeps the fun swirling.  Stephanie I know we would get along!!! Like all of you she’s a giver and gives her time to coaching the cheerleaders in her daughters school. she’s one of us.  lots of things stirring and at the end of the day you can tell she never misses those hugs with her children.  So these are some things I picked up in flickr to share with you all.  love how she embroidered the wristlet bag!!

Marcella Gets a Shout Out in Home Accents Today!!

Ok.. is it just us or are these Marcella Pillows seriously famous?! We can barely keep track of how popular they are, as they keep showing up in magazines, blogs, and funky fabulous online shops. Love! Not to toot our own horns, but it’s pretty cool, huh?!

Just recently, these Marcella knock-outs were featured in Home Accents Today in the Editor’s Choice section!! Thanks Peking Handicraft for the heads up!

I can do this!

So that’s what I’m telling myself..gave my assistant Madeline the day off and now wonder what I was thinking.  That girl completes me!!!!  Do we love her or what? plus she also cares about you all as much as me and that is a rare find..needles in haystacks are easier..whassup with that???  Anyway we are now on wordpress and teaching an old dog new tricks and I’m not talking customer service rep George , I’m talking me…I bought the boy (George ) the finest gourmet bone so I wouldn’t be disturbed….(and praying he doesn’t bury it….) The best laid plans…all this cause last time I posted and even viewed it it (the post ) disappeared.  So I’m really going to try this time!! I don’t want Maddie to give up on me!!!

So I got these pics in my email from a wonderful girl named Amy who redid her sleeping porch with none other than Sis Boom and look at all those greens harmonizing together.  It’s so beautiful and tranquil…..wonder if I’ll get invited to sleep there???  I think she’s somewhere in Massachusetts!!  With permission we’ll get them in Sis Boom Sightings so you can be inspired too..

So that’s it we are abuzz getting our Christmas/Holiday show ready we’ll post pictures soon…Please come if you can we’d love to see you.
