Well, hello everyone! It’s Madeline here, back in CT, while Jennifer is shining, signing, and having a blast meeting all of you out in Atlanta at the County Living Fair!

In case you missed it, here’s a little taste for you! We had such a nice time with such a lovely group of people. We spent the afternoon with brand new friends as well as Sis Boom friends that go way, way back… what a perfect mix! We enjoyed every moment of it!

The wow factors around here. I want you to see this laminate because it is beyond, I mean beyond!! And the dress is perfection of course, We have a pattern very similar coming out in Dec. to this dress. So keep a close eye!! The laminate is at Fabric.com for $8.00 per yard..that’s unheard of . It retails for $18.00 per yard. It’s getting harder to find! Make the tablecloth below too on a previous post. Thanks Jenny for the visual feast!
Maddy Maze Studio makes the best travel pouches and wrist-lets in the whole place!! Check out the assortment in her Flickr Group. Love how she uses the So St. Croix to such a beautiful end! The large scale on the small bags does it for me!!
It’s official! Tons of Sis Boom goods are en route to Atlanta for the Country Living fair!
Chock full of West Indies fat quarters, one yard cuts (it’s a fun, new thing we’re trying and loving), pillows, aprons and much more (including lots of love), a hefty stack of boxes is headed for a good time!! Will you be in Atlanta!? We will keep you posted and I (Madeline) will be sure to keep all of you company who can’t make it. I’ll be holding down the Sis Boom fort while Jen parties it up Country Living style in ATL. Xo!
It’s what we love here. We get emails now and again that tell us of Sis Boom Sightings and we really and truly appreciate hearing about them..So Terri one of our die-hard fans emailed and told me about a quilt in this months Quilt Magazine by Karen Dumont of KariePatch Designs that really got our attention!! It is fabulous and the step by step is all there in the magazine. Karen chose Honey Child (which I saw plenty of at Lola Pink Fabric) to complete her quilt called Day at the lake which is really taking Bow Tie Blocks and standing them on their head. 3D no less. She along with Judy Jennings made a fabulous quilt that you have to have!! Thanks ladies!! Got a Sis boom Sighting to share?? We want to know.
So under the Earth Angels Tent I’ll be doing demonstrations of what to do with sequined felt..stay tuned we’ll reveal next week when we come back!! Madeline will probably have a raffle up for those who can’t make it to the Country Living Fair!! No one left behind, that’s her motto!!! Please say you’ll visit our booth number 14!! Come see the pages of Girls World unfold on Saturday as girls parade around Stone Mountain in their Girls World Attire!!!! My Mom will be hawking the book, a very proud moment for her since she is the inspiration behind all of it!!!! That’s the Earth Angels Tent number 14 where Jen O’Conner has invited me to be a part of this amazing troupe of artists. They have demonstrations every couple of hours. It really is one of the busiest tents on the lot so come see why!! We’ll have fat quarters and one yard cuts and oodles of pillows so come say hi..love to hug you!!! Friday I have the mainstage at 3pm and book signing at 4pm so don’t miss these moments to steal a hug..Crazy about you all!!
