I meet so many amazing folks cruising around the social network and some of them really get to me because of their kindness. I mean it. I met these folks a couple of months ago and they were just so kind to retweet some of my messages and then I went to see out of curiosity to see what they were about and they make the sweetest jewelry. I am loving Joyful Princess! So we were just having some friendly fun when this popped up and I didn’t even know the girl could sew!! Makes me giggle. Kim Hageman you are just so lovely and kind and it’s so cool to get to know you but no more surprises!!! This outfit is so way cute!!! On Etsy, yes you heard that right!!! Tell her to make oodles of them.!!

Melissa Stramel of Lilac Lane has created the sweetest bound notebook of all your favorites rolled into one. I was sent a copy of her published piece and can’t get over the beautiful quilts and all the homemade goodness. Melissa is a born designer. I love the notebook format produced from QuiltWoman.com. It really makes it portable and less fussy the kind you can take with you wherever you go. The magic is in the photography and the beautiful photos of the kids in the country with the thread of patchwork heaven woven throughout. From recipes of Friendship bread, twirly girl skirts and canning fruit to gorgeous aprons this is the book designed just for you. The quilts steal the show! As you know from reading my books, I love romance. I love creating items that you want to surround yourself with. I love to pretty up and I love to use them as whimsy and I love the reactions to things that are created from Happy Home to elicit ooohs and ahhhs. This basket is just one of the items in my home that get folks buzzing and I love that. So it had to be part of Happy Home. Yes it takes time and a whole lot of flowers but it is art and it has merit by just making me all gooey inside. I love pretty and that’s why most of us take to the internet to find the pretty in this world. So grab your copy of Happy Home get a cozy corner and dream, fantasize let it be your starting place, cover a wall with flowers. I really love the name of this sweet company and I also love the warmth they share in their photos. And tell me who doesn’t love a guy who takes his family photo and doesn’t mind it all over facebook. I love this man. So many good men out there. Well it seems as though Karissa Wolf has her pulse on the current vibe. Her Etsy shop is hopping and she couldn’t be any lovelier in her very own Sis Boom Skirt.
