first of all let me say this ..I am sorry our spam filter had some of you held up from the raffle but please be advised your comments were all just released so please breathe a sigh of relief and look forward to Sundays Drawing. Melissa P. our good friend and guru of what to do with Sis Boom fabric!! She just always shoots outside the box . One of my favorite things that she does with Sis Boom Fabric (Crazy Love Joann in Blue) her amazing gift for fussy cutting. Take a look at these squares. She takes intricate designs and creates new designs by using her scissors and most likely some magic potion for the best fussy cutting ever. Only way to describe it Kaleidoscope Designs. Five Eighth Seams such a resourceful place in Charleston, South Carolina!! I love their site and all of the education and classes they do. This skirt below with the wonderful elastic waist is hugely popular!! I’ll find out if it’s a pattern. What I love most is the confidence captured and the Girls World Badge!!! I bet she even picked out the fabric. I just love her!! It’s so good for our girls and boys to sew! Thanks Laura for capturing the spirit of Girls World and for fostering independence and self esteem.

Do to the long list we have for our silhouettes to become patterns I’m afraid we can’t tell you when this will debut. Poor Carla is on vacation so I can’t make any promises but just know our commitment to beautiful quilts and apparel is first and foremost in our minds. We love our sewing community and try to develop items your heart can’t wait to produce. We have been so blessed with an incredible following and never want to disappoint. We also show this photo so you can see how the fabrics look. So many of you never get to see the scale until you receive it in the mail or walk into a brick and mortar store. This is our gal Debra who looks so perfect for a resort vacation. We love how Nancy Geaney styled her hair and how Madeline put the perfect jewels. And of course to Tim Geaney for this beautiful portrait.

I love when you all share your work with the Sis boom Family. We are so into it!!! First on the roster is Create kids who is doing exemplary creations with Honey Child and I had to share their latest pattern with you cause it’s so adorable and you will absolutely love your daughter/granddaughter / niece /to have this sweet frock. Secondly we have a wonderful Carly bubble reversible romper (Sis Boom Pattern here) done up in Poodle and is just the sweetest!! Allyson Ray of Thread Fabrics has a grandbaby coming in July and is patiently waiting for its arrival. Thread Fabric Store is located in Tuscumbia, Alabama!!! They do it so well!! They carry West Indies, and are getting Crazy Love today so check in with them!!!!

How cool would this be in Crazy Love????…omg I’m just loving the huge squares and throw in a solid? How about a solid corduroy or velvet plush it could be so darn cool. What I love about sewing is you can make this any way you want!!! So many options are available to you!!!! Urban Outfitters is a great source for ideas cause they do it so darn well. If you make one of these you have to show us!!! I finally have a picture of all of Crazy Love unpacked. Enjoy the view and the dreaming. Oh and I put Monique’s quilt in again to get your juices flowing..

Such an amazing word that expresses so much..when we say modern we refer to clean lines, simplicity, somewhat linear, we toss it around so much but it really is an amazing sensibility. Modern is somewhat humble and delights in form. In this photo by Heather Jones of her own work we see the wonderful diagonal of the ceiling, The white solid rectangle of the headboard ,the quilt softening all of the hard lines , not to mention the solid vertical quilted lines that carry you into the photo and the clay pots provide such visual relief. It’s like a painting. Then the playful colorful movement across the bed of the pinwheels done in Crazy Love!!! I tell you it’s a still Life !! Heather it’s stunning!!!! I spy Girls World !!!!!!!! xoxoxoxoxo
