I love my mom!!!

I am blessed to have a world renowned artist as a good friend! Barbara Strawser a Pennsylvania Folk Artist and I are teaming up in Connecticut to do our first show together! I have known and appreciated Barbara’s work for a little more than 10 years and everytime I do a show everyone wants to know who did the paintings in my home…well now instead of a yellow stickum with her info on it you will get to meet this incrediblle artist in person…So please join her on the porch with a cup of coffee and a piece of angel food cake ( the angel is an image throughout her pieces) We are both so excited to meet each others clients and friends. look for a warm and gracious welcome and come see what we have been working on. Barbara is an amazing artist and all of my friends find so much happiness in her work! Barbara’s artwork has graced the walls of ABC Carpet and Home…She is a lover of color, gardening, Halloween, dogs, people, places, and their stories..she can even be commissioned to reflect your personal story! Meet my new best friend Collett Fenske I walked by her booth in Utah and was blown away by the talent
I do quite a bit but this girl hand dyes everything from rick rack to homespun ticking with quite the attention to detail… take a look at the ribbon and specialty items she does….. big talent! She deserves a look see and while you are there look at her easy to make quilt kits I know you will all love…

Sis Boom Fabrics were made to play…and I love what Toni Hamel does and how she expresses it! These are not matchy matchy fabrics but I call it the Kenzo concept…Do you remember that designer…..he broke the rules big time… stripes, paisleys,polkadots, pastels and vibrants all played nicely together on the same playground….when I first saw his designs I thought “wow that doesn’t go” but I’ve come to appreciate how it all works and if you like it together chances are it works..So raise a glass to our girl Toni thanks for the playful vision….
