A Sis Boom Celebration Quilt by 100 Billion Stars

Melissa over at 100 Billion Stars showed us this stunner of a colorful quilt top and we were floored by it’s gorgeousness. Aptly named Wildly Nostalgic, this quilt includes many of Boom’s past collections. I spy old favorites such as Crazy Love and Mod Girls plus newer lines like Caravelle Arcade and Good Company blended together skillfully in a riot of color. It’s fun to take a trip down the Sis Boom memory lane and look at all the fabric collections together on one quilt top.

On piecing together this quilt, Melissa said “Once I realized they were begging for a painter’s palette type of setting, things came together quickly. Rather than stick to a rigid progression of color, I chose a looser adaptation. The pinks swirl around from oranges to browns and purples. The blues flow into purples as well as aquas. This is a very organic way to put it together.”
