Rachael Daisy of Blue Mountain Daisy has been coming by my blog for a few years and she is so supportive and kind to all the folks we post and always has a good word to add so I thought once again I would put her in the spotlight because she really knows how to work a quilt. I love to see the quilts on a long arm quilting machine!!! I tell folks how big they are and people can’t even fathom the scale. Look at this magnificent quilt of West Indies!!!! We’ve actually had it on here before but I love it on the machine and you get a sense of scale. This is huge!!!!!! Rachael you consistently pump out the beauties. Rachael knows how to work Sis Boom! I love the playfulness of her pieces and this is no exception. I’m always excited to see what she’s been up to Down Under.
Rachael this quilt is gorgeous girl! I am so happy you had West Indies birds to go with your beloved Nualla(goodness that spelling doesn’t look right). Ohhh Jennifer now I see West Indies I NEED! Beautiful stack girl!
That is simply amazing!! Oh how I wish I had a machine like that to use for all my quilts. I love her fabric combinations on this one so much!
Thank you so much Jennifer for all your kind words about me and my quilt. I’m halfway through sewing the binding on it now though I get distracted from my stitches and sit there looking at the gorgeous fabrics and beautiful quilting by my wonderful long arm quilter, Tanya Croft. It’s always such a joy to use your inspiring fabrics!! Stay tuned for the glamour shots of this quilt when I’ve finished the binding and we get a sunny day. 🙂
