Hi all!
Hope you’re enjoying these cold, crisp days of winter … all leading up to Holiday & New Year celebrations! Can you believe 2010 is coming to a close?! In reflecting back on our year, we find ourselves daydreaming about all of the awesome things that Sis Boom has accomplished.. and one thing that stands out above all is our dear, dear Queen Street. It seems to be the line that has something for everyone, which we really love. We had such a wonderful response to Queen Street during our show and practically sold out of the entire line!
Apparently all of you out there love it just as much as we do! We hear it’s been flying off the shelves and we’ve seen such fun Queen Street projects here, there and everywhere! We’re writing to say that you should get it while it’s hot (and available!) and also….we have a fun challenge for you all!!!!…
Email us* pictures of your queen street projects and we’ll have our little panel of judges (George and his friends) pick their top 3 projects to be featured on the blog! Need fabric? Check our long list of Sis Boom Fabric vendors on the left side of our blog. Expand the list to see all stores (click “see all”)!!
Get sewing! Can’t wait to see what you come up with! Points will be given for originality!!! Winner will be announced on January 5th (we will give you some time to get fabric and design your masterpiece!) This could be your big break!!!

How fun! I just ordered some Queen Street last week. I can’t wait for it to arrive. You always have such beautiful fabric. 🙂
Okay now that’s just…would you believe me if I said I was thinking of doing the SAME THING on my blog??? I was thinking about it this morning on my way to get my hair done. I am NOT kidding. THAT is just bizarre and cool all at the same time! Okay so I am going to play along instead! Woo hoo!
I’m on it!!! Truthfully though, I don’t even need the challenge–it’s just to fun NOT to play with. 🙂
OOHHH what to make? I’ll have to get my Thinking Cap on!! Hmm maybe a Thinking Cap made out with some Queen Street…

How wonderful to hear Queen Street fabrics are selling out everywhere – congratulations! I’m not surprised cuz it’s a really beautiful and inspiring collection. Sounds like a cool challenge!
Totally love this idea…but I am on vacation (far from fabric and a sewing machine)…when is the last day that photos can be sent to you?
