It’s study time for My Katie, and that means it’s also time to create a cozy, comfy, peaceful spot in our home for her to sit and relax with those SAT books.
When Madeline heard my idea, she went and put together a little haven for Katie in my craft room. Using Nancy Geaney‘s newest and most fabulous quilt (see it? with the awesome blue vintage fringe?!!), Madeline put together a beautiful, Sis Boom Bed so that Katie and her friends could study the night away.
Thank you, Nancy, for creating such a beautiful piece… it completes our study room makeover for sure!!
So inviting and cozy. I think Madeline has created an excellent space–one that makes you want to spend a little extra time, even if that time is for studying. Great job!!
Jennifer, Katie is one blessed girl to have a cozy spot like that to study, and maybe dream some too. I love it!
You are such a generous mama to provide her such a lovely spot.
So pretty!
Oh my goodness! So so pretty and I SEE QUEEN STREET!! Gorgeous girl! Good work Madeline!
That is a seriously wicked haven! What girl wouldn’t love to have that room (including me)! I love all the fringes and pom-poms!
Gorgeous cozy spot! I can see that the new Madeline print is quite large in comparison to the (old!) Maeve. I want a cozy spot like that!!
Oh, my goodness. 🙂 Such a perfect study spot, I think Katie is very blessed. Perfection!
Oh! Wow! This is just so gorgeous! What a special place to sit and study!!!
Wow! Could that look any more AMAZING!!! I think not! Love it all!
So my 12yo just came in and said I HAVE to make her a space like that to study in also…I will have to see what we can do for her lol
That is so gorgeous, how wonderful.
What a beautiful bright happy place to study! I love the K picture on the wall and of course, Nancy pretty pretty quilt!!! Happy Studying Katie!!!
It looks amazing! I love the bobble and fringing trims, a perfect place to curl up and study.
tell katie to move over, I’ll be there in a few minutes 🙂
it looks terrific!
What a beautiful space you have created!! I would fully enjoy relaxing and studying there.
I just started my new job and have an office to decorate (with a window view…YAY!) and I just got three half yards of Dance With Me fabrics that Marie Madeline had on sale a couple of weeks ago, so I want to find some time to make something fun and special with it for my new office space!
It’s all fabulous (of course!) but what I really adore is that prize ribbon bunting. So clever and eye-catching!!
Jennifer, I am amazed at how much I love the browns, blues and pinks together! The fabric framed print hanging over the bed is delish! What a great idea, I may have to borrow that for my studio.
