Jenny Eliza

Jenny Eliza was my mom’s nick name for me and it always made me feel sooooooo good. Mom’s nick names had a way of doing that.  With that in mind Jenny Eliza for JoAnn’s has the same feel good character that describes that cozy feel mom communicated every time she chirped my name.  I love Jenny Eliza, the scale, the colors, all perfect for quilting, and sewing beautiful clothing and home designs.  Madeline captured the happiness in this cool graphic below with this wonderful layered dress.  She’s so cool!!!!

I hope you’ll be standing by when this arrives at your local store!!  We hope that it tickles your soul and inspires you to do pretty!!!  Please follow Jenny Eliza on facebook for the latest updates.  …as always thanks for dropping by we are so happy to have you!!

Nostalgia

That’s what Circa gives us!! It’s a Glance at the past but not a stare. We love to borrow from the past but we love to fussy it up with all your favorite colors.  There is something you relate to something you can’t quite put your finger on..that would be the sentiment from an era gone by!  Hickity Pickity , along time friend of Sis Boom has embraced the sensibility of Circa and as always spins her own style amongst the folds.  We love her creations and we hope they inspire you. Get to know Judy Buchanan on facebook because she sells her wares and if you don’t sew this is your chance to get lovely affordable clothes made from Sis Boom Fabrics. Thanks Judy and of course the lovely Georgia who takes the beautiful pics!!

Wholecloth Quilts from Circa!

Something very big coming to Sis Boom wholecloth Quilts made in the USA.  As you know not many designers offer wholecloth quilts because they are so costly to make. We pay a huge premium to do business in America but we also know this is something that many of you want. We are starting with twin bedspread quilts only!! These are an investment for sure but so worth it!!! These are heirloom quilts.
These will last a lifetime just like our ancestors quilts!  They will travel with your children throughout their lives and the beauty is these are ready made from our Circa Line, no custom available but we would like to know if folks would like to see Queen and King so please let us know.  We hope to hear from you!! These are $400 each and please no hate mail, we are trying our best to keep them made in America. Once we get into volume orders we may be able to reduce the price. But we are years from that. Hope you like them. They will be available in our shop very soon!!

Rich color Palette

Erica Hill of Stripes and Ruffles tested this wonderful pattern for Whimsy Couture .  We are loving this one in the Crazy Love fabrics.  What a wonderful combo.  I must say that daughter of Erica’s is adorable!!!!! I am smitten!! The fabrics can be found here. and here Also try ebay and etsy.

Please also if you are a store or brick and mortar and are reading this please add your store and location.  We have lots of readers and folks looking for fabric locally.  We will also put it on facebook!!!

Nice job Erica and we will be watching for further great looks from you!!!

Eyes and Ears, I need yours

Ok so let’s have a serious chat!!  I want to help the brick and mortars of the world.  Maybe a shout out to your local store for carrying Sis Boom fabrics or a photo of old Sis Boom stock and a location they can be found.  We have a need for old stock!!! People scour the internet day and night for our first lines.  Most will pay top dollar!  We also want to get to know you if you are carrying Sis boom fabric and get you on our locator list.  It’s hard in a world of online sellers to find a spot but we want you to know we are holding a place for you..Having a sale?? Tell us so we can let your neighborhood  know.  These quilters and clothing designers will travel!!! That much we do know.  We have an active community on facebook.  Alas the dreaded facebook but it’s amazing how fast we can get up to speed to see our favorite fabrics.  Brick and mortars, dead Sis Boom stock, can’t move, post your photos to Jennifer Byrne Paganelli and we will chat you up!!!  Better yet show us what you have and then our sewists will make the trip.  Are you a fan of Sis Boom ??? Take a photo in your favorite store that carries Sis Boom and enter to win 5 yards of Circa!!!! Ends August 31st!! We will be sharing more about that.  We want every seller to be an online seller , to be known for carrying Sis Boom.  We are an eager bunch and we love to chat!!!  Got a favorite store in your area?? Give them a shout out and tag me , tell me what town they are in and if they have a website or not. Shout out to Trains and Fabrics in Tacoma Washington, who doesn’t even do email for carrying some of our new lines. They now have a facebook page!!

Have any of these?? Folks are looking. Do you ship? Do you ship internationally?
