Sew Fun

You know I’m crazy about all of you guys.  Love how you stash your pictures in Sis Boom Sightings for me to see and ponder !  I love it all .  Please don’t ever take it personally if you are not selected for a blog post because it may take time! We appreciate all of your contributions.   More and more beautiful items are being posted daily and not always possible to make the rounds but we are grateful and you never know when you may be next.  Monique is not new to the Sis Boom blog but we love having her for her eye that sees it all so brilliantly.  Not a matchy matchy girl by training she sees with her heart and as a result it all seems to tug at ones soul.  I just had to show you Monique in her Lucy Halter top because she glows.  Whisper color and she’ll be by your side.  We just can’t thank her enough for all she does and the beauty she fills the world with.  So thanks Monique!

Whirlwind Weekend

My weekend started with meeting up with Madeline to share a crafternoon with Laura Madden and Jessica Pigza.  It was out of this world.  Just walking up the steps where the lions watch over Fifth Ave was enough for any historical junkie.  Their names are Prudence and Fortitude and you know I would have loved to Sis Boom them up but alas they are protected kind of like extinct animals are and they are not allowed to be touched.  So because I can’t resist I decided to do it in photoshop because I can’t leave well enough alone.  So here we have Patience on the South side of the steps up to the NYC Public Library in his Wreath of lovely!  Our hosts were incredible and loving and open ,very special ladies.  Such a privilege I tell you.  Oh and make sure to get a copy of Laura’s Book Crafternoon on Amazon.  I tell you very special ladies with an amazing message. Love to everyone who came and let their inner artist play..

Oh and the next thing I knew Madeline and I were racing off to do a Sunday segment on Crafting for Mother’s Day early in the morning for Fox and Friends Weekend.  Hair and Make up included , we felt like movie stars. So please take a look at this fun day!  Then take notes and Craft away!!  Tell us if you saw us last Sunday and what you thought of the projects.
