Lucky Girl will be in stock by then and you can come get you some. Because the show is early you can even make something up. Yes check the dates, in early November this year, so you will have the gifts you need to celebrate the season. Here are a few of the things we have been preparing. Pricing is all under $40.00 each for items listed below.
I’ve neglected my blog and the work is piling up!! Please forgive me. I devote so much time to sewing these days and I really need to get on the stick? ..off the stick? and why a stick? Anywho I miss you all and I’ve wanted to share with you the greatest project I did this summer …I mean we. Katies boyfriend Berto painted the dresser below with Annie Sloans Napoleonic Blue Chalk Paint, forget the paint, that name sends me to the moon!!! I knew I had to have it and yes pricey for a pint but I still have a 1/2 a can left!!! This woman is brilliant, her colors are fabulous and the videos and tips on various sites and youtube make the whole thing go quite quickly. I want to paint everything this color just so I can say Napoleonic Blue..feels so noble..Royal!! So take a look and tell her I sent you. Not that she’ll care or even know who I am….So inhale this beautiful dresser if you like.. The knobs are from Anthropologie but a little to transparant..not showing up..so I painted the back white so no light could shine through and now they pop!!! So I promise from here on forward not to neglect my Blog duties but please say you’ll keep coming..xoxoxo Oh and sweet boy George was such a big help!
PS this has nothing to do with chalkboard paint..

As you can see we have disappeared for a few days and we apologize . As a designer these are the moments that are most stressful. I want to bring you the very best of Sis Boom and that means working like crazy with the stylist (Madeline) and my seamstress (Bettyann) we go until the sunsets and as most of you know I pop up early to get the inspiration on paper. We adore you all and hate when we can’t be in touch with all of you all the time. You are what make me want to raise the bar every time. Carla is busy working on a Sis Boom pattern for all of you and we are so grateful to that very busy woman. Remember to purchase all the Scientific Seamstress classic patterns on Etsy. Today we go underground for more planning and styling but we will be back soon!!! So get your ticket to the show and get a front row seat..(:))))) we are so excited for you to see.
Ok, here’s the deal. We love this room and we want it to exist now. It’s not an impossible room to create.. Some long, flowing Circa drapes, pillows, a Sis Boom ticking “LOVE” pillow, Pottery Barn couch, some DIY-ish vases, a Sis Boom rug, and, OF COURSE, Happy Home. Voila. LOVE IT.

I did it, I announced Lucky Girl on Facebook. It’s always thrilling to launch a new line but it can be terrifying simultaneously!! You just always want everyone to be happy and that you continue to raise the bar for yourself. Achievement can never really be measured so it has to come from within. I like this line so much and know that you will have so much fun putting the designs together. You know how much I love seeing your work and if I can help you launch a little biz so you can stay home with the kids I am happy to do so!!!! So I hope you are enjoying the summer it can be difficult juggling kids and your biz but take heart in knowing it will come when you are ready and not before. Savor the notion that you are right where you are supposed to be!!
Open those eyes and hope that someone special put a piping hot cup of coffee on your night table. Take a sip and do your morning stretch as you admire the view from your window. It’s Sunday. A day for you to rest and be with family. A day for you to read the book you’ve been carrying around, make that special recipe you’ve been dreaming of, sit down at your sewing table and put a few special stitches in that beloved quilt. It’s YOUR day.
Your enveloped in a beautiful cozy bed, overflowing with down and soft sheets. The bed frame stands proud in its twirly, swirly goodness, and the pillows you rest on are playful and happy. They are Ibiza, by Sis Boom, and they are there to make you smile. They are embroidered luxury, but also perfectly casual.
Yesterday we showcased an Ibiza rug in a room for baby, but this is where Ibiza fits perfectly into your world.
Enjoy your day.

We stumbled upon this most magical nursery on One Claire Day. Every last little detail is breathtaking and heartfelt. Talk about turning a dream into a reality. We went looking for a place for our new Ibiza rug to reside, and this was clearly it…
With a bit of spunk and character amidst a sea of mini-bohemia, this Ibiza piece would make a vibrant, fun statement. The Ibiza line (rug and pillows in two colorways), is our homage to the bold, playful flowers of Marimekko. With colorways and patterning that apply to the decor of baby through adult, Ibiza is our new fave…
We can just imagine the little feet prancing around. We can hear the giggle of a chubby cheeked, little, pigtailed kiddo, as she runs around playing hide and seek. What a lucky little girl!
