We love our Betty Ann pattern named for a beloved mentor of mine. This Maxi looks so terrific on Jeanne Hamling, one of our long time testers daughters. Look at the shoes my friends , that’s what caught my eye!!! I love her confidence and pride in wearing one of mom’s creations!!! All of Jeanne’s kids are beautiful and I had the pleasure of meeting this one Miss Lily out in Utah!! Folks I’m sorry I won’t be at quilt market but I will be thinking of all of you!!! Erica Hill of Stripes and Ruffles tested this wonderful pattern for Whimsy Couture . We are loving this one in the Crazy Love fabrics. What a wonderful combo. I must say that daughter of Erica’s is adorable!!!!! I am smitten!! The fabrics can be found here. and here Also try ebay and etsy.

Look at this beauty, I would have loved a face but sometimes it’s just not a good hair day. This is my old island roots. I love woman of color in brights it brings me back to my homeland. And when I hear a sing songy dialect of the Caribbean islands I am somehow immediately transported to a wonderful time in my life. This color dazzles on this woman and I’m so glad her first choice was brights. Against her skin tone it was just all meant to be. Sara Beth Upshaw of Molly Blossom’s is kicking it up big time in Jackson Mississippi and we couldn’t be more thrilled with this amazing silhouette!! April Keeter approached me back in January about her Boutique challenge Auction that happens a few times a year. More beautiful then I remember. My delivery came today and it is beyond what I recall!! Really is so beautiful and so worth the wait. I’ve been right along side my friends who have waited patiently. Before you know it you will have it and have difficulty cutting it. That’s what I always here from you guys!! So here is a pic, dream of the days ahead. The good news is most of it will ship in the next three weeks so before late May like intended. Think about headboards and canopy’s in Happy Home and Girls Dresses and accessories in Girls World. I bow down to Carla Crim on this one Not as easy as most of our patterns the Ethan and Marco patterns will challenge you to take the next step. In true Sis Boom form Carla writes it so the beginner can stay engaged and create something wonderful for the boys/ men in your life. Carla will not bring a pattern to market that all levels cannot create. We are so excited about this! Folks were so enthusiastic about seeing a men’s shirt in Happy Home that we decided to offer it in our pattern collection. Kudos to the Scientific Seamstress for bringing it to life!!! So let’s create!!! They are in our shop and will be distributed to our sellers very soon.Please note these are long sleeves with cuffs we forgot to show you them with the cuff..next photoshoot.
