I say this when I refer to Kathy Hennessy because she is everyone’s cheerleader and runs an incredible group on facebook for like minded sewing gals/guys. What a forum it is and I love to see the relationships and kinship’s that develop out of such a place. She has ground rules and insists that others play fair and she encourages everyone in their passions and pursuits. Her blog the same name as the Facebook page she runs is called Handmade Dress Haven. This is where it gets exciting. Here she does a tutorial on the Crazy Love Dress she created. I love the bib front on this special frock. Follow the tutorial here.
As always thanks Kathy for letting me peek in to your sewing world and sharing the joys!! Love your 6 year old.

Rachael Daisy of Blue Mountain Daisy has been coming by my blog for a few years and she is so supportive and kind to all the folks we post and always has a good word to add so I thought once again I would put her in the spotlight because she really knows how to work a quilt. I love to see the quilts on a long arm quilting machine!!! I tell folks how big they are and people can’t even fathom the scale. Look at this magnificent quilt of West Indies!!!! We’ve actually had it on here before but I love it on the machine and you get a sense of scale. This is huge!!!!!! Rachael you consistently pump out the beauties. We are so fortunate that you love West Indies. Here’s a link for some West Indies fat quarters if you are dreaming of creating. Sew Love Fabrics on Etsy has lots of West Indies!! I like the green set below!

Sew Fun By Monique created this beautiful collection of pillows as a special order. We peeped it on Flickr and couldn’t take our eyes off them!
The bold collection ranges from current collections to those from years past, with a common denominator of pink pom poms. So good! Nice Job, Monique! Read more about Monique’s project here.

Can you say that 10 times fast?! Wow! Looky how our friend Sassy Stitches By Lori pairs this refreshing combo from Honey Child and Queen Street!

We’re always up for a good ole Sis Boom clutch … something compact and bright that we can carry under our arm to an event. The beauty of something like this is that it can take you from a stroll at the park to an afternoon wedding!
