We love our Betty Ann pattern named for a beloved mentor of mine. This Maxi looks so terrific on Jeanne Hamling, one of our long time testers daughters. Look at the shoes my friends , that’s what caught my eye!!! I love her confidence and pride in wearing one of mom’s creations!!! All of Jeanne’s kids are beautiful and I had the pleasure of meeting this one Miss Lily out in Utah!! Folks I’m sorry I won’t be at quilt market but I will be thinking of all of you!!! Well Circa is about to hit and it looks like we are going to have to order more!!! Looks like most of the yardage manufactured has been sold. Do not worry that won’t affect you just means a party for me!!!! Seriously folks we don’t do it alone and it takes a village it takes your enthusiasm and excitement to carry it across the web and create a riot of sorts. Look at this beauty, I would have loved a face but sometimes it’s just not a good hair day. This is my old island roots. I love woman of color in brights it brings me back to my homeland. And when I hear a sing songy dialect of the Caribbean islands I am somehow immediately transported to a wonderful time in my life. This color dazzles on this woman and I’m so glad her first choice was brights. Against her skin tone it was just all meant to be. Sara Beth Upshaw of Molly Blossom’s is kicking it up big time in Jackson Mississippi and we couldn’t be more thrilled with this amazing silhouette!! I say this when I refer to Kathy Hennessy because she is everyone’s cheerleader and runs an incredible group on facebook for like minded sewing gals/guys. What a forum it is and I love to see the relationships and kinship’s that develop out of such a place. She has ground rules and insists that others play fair and she encourages everyone in their passions and pursuits. Her blog the same name as the Facebook page she runs is called Handmade Dress Haven. This is where it gets exciting. Here she does a tutorial on the Crazy Love Dress she created. I love the bib front on this special frock. Follow the tutorial here.

April Keeter approached me back in January about her Boutique challenge Auction that happens a few times a year. Twirling and twirling that’s what girl’s are made of. Emma Woods on facebook made this amazing dress and it got lots of attention on our FB page. All of you with all your talents just make my life so easy.. So much better than talking about me all day. Emma this is gorgeous and I believe this is your daughter. She looks so happy. Here it comes the best shirt pattern for boys ever just two weeks away! We named the pattern Ethan after this guy in the photo here. Ethan is the son of Jenny from Sew Pretty Dresses who you all know so well! You may recall Ethan’s sister, Kelsey is one of our all time favorite models and she loves everything Sis Boom. Here she is supporting her brother’s debut. We love Jenny and the love she brings to everything she does what can I say it just shows. So the Ethan will be also available for men as the Marco and I know that you are all waiting for that as well.
