Do you know Thomas Knaeur?? Fabric designer ultimista at Andover Fabrics!! When I first met him I knew he was a good guy you could just tell!! He was doing a patch quilt I believe with over 500 fabrics and none could be repeated..Am I right?? Listen it could have been 5 Billion I just knew it was a challenge that was daunting. Thomas is fairly new to quilting I believe but impressed with folks like Dan Rouse he has quickly adapted and I have to say his quilts for me are just amazing. So when he had an idea for Girls World Vibe I quickly obliged and you can see why. The results are just incredibly momentous. I mean that.. I don’t throw around big words (well I do) but totally genuine I love the dynamic of planes he has created here and the rhythmic pattern of color. His daughter Bee loves her quilt. So that makes two big fans!! Me and the Bee!! So please get one of our favorite online destinations Fat Quarterly for his review of the tool that made it all happen for him.!! I’ve been seeing a lot about that curved ruler & hope to try it some time. Girls World Vibe is so perfect for that pattern!
Confessions of tool junkie. I was very into quilting before sewing clothing for my girlie. I LOVED all the gadgets tools new methods. Couldn’t get enough. Oh my word I want that ruler! Gorgeous in Vibe!
