  1. Hi Jennifer! It was great to see you at the wedding. We hope you had fun. We’re off for a drive down the west coast- should be a great 17 days! Thanks again for the dress, I got SO many compliments. See you soon. Love to your hubby!

Jennifer, Your fabric is Just DIVINE! No one could ever pick just one favorite. Can’t wait to see what else you have in store.
Have fun when your mom visits.

  3. Lori says:

I just finished a purse from Anna Flower mural green and Jackie Agua, then added a fabric flower from Amanda Fleur Fucshia. It is so pretty. I have to see the Anna Flower Mural in green is one of my favorites but in reality I really like them all.

  4. Debbie says:

    Jennifer,
It’s great to read from you again. I’m in the middle of teaching a beginner sewing class at the library. I sent a few students to SisBoom last night for inspiraton.
A favorite of the last three….Oh, so hard….Dance with Me. Allison is requesting matching somethings from this. And we know, she usually gets what she asks for when it comes to sewing with mommy.
She did most of the work on the 4-H project posted in my blog under 3 things about me. Not SisBoom Fabric, she was determined to have a variety of purples in the outfit.
When do the new collections launch?

  5. Rachael says:

Thanks for being so generous! I love your Kimberley helper prints; I think it’d make a great quilt back.

  6. Jamie says:

Wow, what a fabulous giveaway! So many things I could do– when all of the summer travels are over. Having a great summer, and am about to embark on a week long road trip with a dear friend and our four preschoolers! Hope we’re not crazy…

  7. Karin says:

Pick a favorite? How? There is just no way to winnow down what I love about your fabrics to a few choices. Nope, no way.
Glad you had such a good time with Sophie. There’s nothing better than spending time with family.:)
I have had such and uneventful summer there’s nothing to write about. But, I will be doing a 5K run/walk in August with my sister in Atlanta. Now that will be exciting. Especially if I survive it! lol

  8. Megan says:

I love all the bright colors in the photo above. My summer is great. We are getting ready for my daughters big 1st birthday next week. Can’t wait!

  9. Stephanie says:

LOVE Flower Power…all of it! I’m a Stephanie and love that you have a print named after me. :o) I have some pieces from that collection paired up with trims and vintage buttons just waiting for me to make purses. Summer…started with a trip to CA to celebrate my dad’s 90th birthday.

  10. Courtney says:

It’s hard to pick only four. I LOVE your fabrics. I’ll narrow it down to Pretty Please Amanda Fluer in orange, Jackie in pink, Marie in Butter, and Flower Power Max’s Tux in Blue. Thank you for the chance to win. I look forward to seeing your new collections.

  11. Kristy says:

What a generous raffle =) This summer is going well, I really don’t want it to end!

  12. Joan says:

I was so happy to find some of your fabrics delivered to my front door when I got home from work yesterday, but after stroking and admiring them all evening, I got on the internet to look for more. And now this morning you tempt me yet again! I can see next month’s intentions of sticking to a budget flying right out the window! I LOVE all of your lines, but I’m still trying to collect more Girlfriends and Modgirls — I only have two of each (sniff, sniff).

  13. Marsha says:

    Dear Jennifer,
My favorite thing about this summer so far is the cool temperature! A lot of people complain about it not being hot and sweaty, but I think it’s great. I would call if comfy. It’s hard to choose one, but I’d have to go for “Flower Power”.
    S.W.A.K.

  14. Candace Gabriel says:

Working on getting our guest room to look like one of your pics. Love the bright colors…I just may have to sleep in that room from time to time!

  15. Abbie says:

Free fabrics?!? What a great thing to add to my summer! Lots of sewing going on in my house = Happy Summer Here!

  16. CarolE/UP says:

Wow – 4 free yards??? Hard to pick — but Libby in any color would be lovely.

  17. Keri says:

My summer is going GREAT! I am getting a golden retriever puppy tomorrow. Levi. The cute pictures will be out of control. Honestly, the one thing I was bummed about was that he wasn’t a girl so I could make him collars out of your beautiful fabric. I have to find some boy fabric I guess!

  18. Oh my goodness!!! pick my favorite?? they ALL are my favorite!!! My summer has been filled with travels to the beach and family…lazy days being creative with my sweet kiddos…and working on a new venture that is soon to come! I can’t wait to see your new lines! as always, I just know they will be amazing!
    Many Blessings!
    Jill

  19. sewpam63 says:

I am continuing to covet your fabrics! ; ) Four yards…hmmm, I could maybe cut into some of that…?! I could maybe even share some…?! Pick me! Pretty P-L-E-A-S-E!?

  20. Jodi says:

Oh goodness. Is it wrong to covet a give away?! LOL So I won some scraps from Sheree’s blog a couple weeks back. mmmm. What wonderful fabric pieces were in there. I came across this one and I said to self, “ooooh I really like this one!” And guess what! The selvage was still there and guess what! It was your fabric !!! mmmmm… Good stuff.

  21. Ruth B says:

What a gorgeous stack of fabrics! This summer has not been great so far. My husband is changing jobs, we’re trying to sell our house to move out of state, I had a heart attack last week and I’m going back for more surgery tomorrow…wonder what’s next? LOL

  22. Bobbie Lynn says:

    Hi Jennifer,
Well, I can not pick a favorite because they are all beautiful. Very cool colored summer fabric. Great line. Wonderful to hear about your Mom coming to visit and say hello to her for me. So far this summer I’m just trying to keep the front lawn green and working out in the garden. Can not believe were at the end of July. There will be some changes in the garden, hopefully more roses. : ) Wishing you a wonderful time with your Mom.

  23. missy says:

Ohhhh how very generous of you. I adore your Flower Power line. Summer has been a whirlwind of emotions. But I am blessed with so much. My garden is thriving,I’m in the process of piecing together my first quilt and the weather is DIVINE!!!
    Hugs
    -missy-

  24. ccn says:

Hey Jen! Birdie swiped my fabric for herself (as I predicted! ) so I need to get myself some more! Hope you are well.

  25. Sarah E. says:

Oh, I love them all! I think… my favorite is Flower Power, but it’s so close I don’t even know! ;)

  26. Karin says:

How could you ask people to pick out of all those lovely fabrics? That’s simply impossible! I can’t wait to see your new collections.
Great to hear your mom is visiting. I wish you both a wonderful time together.
    x Karin

  27. yvonne says:

Your fabric is absolutely beautiful. It has inspired me to take a quilting class. The only problem is selecting from such an awesome collection!

  28. Barb says:

What a generous giveaway! I’m loving summer – at the lake everyday with the kids. Your fabric is gorgeous!

  29. Sandy Rowe says:

Morning Jennifer, I must be in a rut!! I work 4 days a week–10 hr days, clean house, shop on Thursdays and golf on Saturday and Sunday. We generally golf at 7 am because it gets hot in the Tri-Cites, Washington. We are in the desert! And finally, whenever I have “nothing” to do, I quilt! Last Saturday, I went to Prosser, Washington for a class with Carol Porter–the yo yo lady! It was fun!
    Have a great summer!

  30. Aunt Spicy says:

I am super excited…I have three baby blankets in the works that are a combination of Flower Power and some of your other lines mixed in (using the fat quarters you so generously sent!). Plus I have three more Union Jacks out of the SiS Boom basics almost done. I need to make a couple more US flags as well (one is posted on my July 4th post…need to fix my flickr account).
Will you mom be guest blogging? I hope so, I am sure her post would be as fabulous and cheery as yours always are! And good luck with the new lines, can’t wait to see them!

  31. Alison says:

Eeek…what a fun win that would be!
I’ve got my tiny and not so tiny tunic patterns all printed…perfect fabric :) for a perfect project!!!

  32. theboyzmomma says:

Well, let’s see, it’s been a bummer of a summer. The hubby lost his very good paying job in Feb. and has been diligently looking for another with no luck, oldest son had an appendectomy in March, I had a partial hysterectomy in April so I’ve been getting only a fraction of my normal check (and I’m a teacher so that’s not much to start with) we’ve gone through almost all of our savings, we are in the midst (at a stand-still) of re-doing our very old home. I think that’s it. Tell Mom I would cry w/ joy should she choose me since I can’t spare the money to buy any of your fabric. ;) Otherwise, we are blessed and life is good!!!

  33. Tiffany says:

It’s been a terrific summer…wonderful weather for us in WA State. It’s impossible to pick a favorite of yours – they are all so wonderful.

  34. DianeY says:

As of today, my summer is going wonderful because I am at home on “vacation” in Hawaii after 4 weeks of travelling, babysitting & caring for my elderly Mom in CO & CA!! Sure is great to have a wonderful place to come home to-I was just as excited on the plane as all the tourists.
So after a run to pick up the mail & a trip to Costco this morning, I’ll be unpacking the new fabrics I bought! I had to leave some clothes behind at my mom’s to bring my new treasures homw!!!

  35. I love your work! Summer for me has been all work and no play. So, I am going to start playing more.

  36. Sarah says:

I love everything about the pretty please line especially Amanda Fluer.

  37. Becca says:

Happy Summer. What a wonderful giveaway. I adore all of your fabrics and use of vibrant colors, but my favorite is probably the Pretty Please line. After enjoying a very mild June the heat is in full swing here, but the delicious peaches make the heat worth while. There is nothing better than homemade fresh peach ice cream on warm summer evening. Thanks again for the chance to win some of your gorgeous fabrics.

  38. Aimee' says:

love Flower Power and Pretty Please!! especially matched with your animal prints!! what a fun giveaway!

  39. Carol says:

What beautiful fabrics! This summer I’m possessed by the need to make things, cuffs and headbands and coasters — stuff with quick payoffs. But with these fabrics? I’d make something big!

  40. Harley says:

Ah, such beautiful fabric! My summer is going good. We just got home from a rafting trip in the Smoky Mountains, and then in September I’m going on my very first cruise! I’m so excited :)

  41. Pick Me! Pick Me! :)
I LOOOOVE your fabric!!! If I could design, our fabrics would be identical! Looking forward to the new stuff!
    Brenda

  42. Mary says:

My summer was going along very benignly until weekend before last. I lost power for two days in the record heat wave, when the power came back, my phone and internet did not for a week during which time my car was hit and finally when all the outside disaster was over I was bit by a black widow (you think you are having a heart attack) and ended up in the hospital. Having maxed out bad luck for the next year, I am sure the rest of the summer will be marvelous.

  43. Renee E says:

I would love to win it. I am having a giveaway for a custom dress and I would offer to make the dress in your fabric. (and hope there was enough left over to make something else!)

  44. Judi says:

I can imagine a twin beds with similar but never the same quilts using this scrumptious mix. While I’m at it, let’s place that room in a seaside cottage, white and weathered with profusions of hydrangeas under the window. Lovely dream, isn’t it?

  45. corinnea says:

Woot! 4 yards?? So generous. I love the bell bottom line. Well, I love all your stuff but I particularly loooove the Bell Bottom line.

  46. Karen says:

My favorite has to be Kimberly in lime – I’d love to do a wholecloth quilt, handquilted from that. As cool as our summer is this year, it would be a wonderful project to work on. And snuggle under!

  54. Stacey says:

Wore my Patricia Tunic in Elizabeth Rose blue today. It makes a great beach cover-up.

  55. Karen G. says:

I so want the chair in that photo….since I have all of those fabrics, I could probably swing one myself – such great inspiration! Next on my list of projects is a quilt with the scrumptious Elizabeth Rose print, so it’s currently my fave, but I love all your prints – they mix and match so well!
Enjoy your time with your mom!
    Karen G.

  62. Suzi says:

Summer is moving by too fast. We have enjoyed a trip to Gold Lake with the boys. Camping at it’s best. 4 wheeling, lots of fishing, and just spending time together. I love all your fabrics! In fact I am going to start a dress with your zebra stripe for our annual auction. Hope you are having a great summer too.

I could never pick a favorite! They are all too beautiful. I asked my 7 year old to help pick and even she couldn’t pick a favorite. She kept saying, “please buy me that one and that one, no wait get that one!” It’s a good thing she doesn’t have a credit card. :)
Anyways, we are having a wonderful summer, but can’t wait for the cool weather to start. Hope the rest of your summer is great and I hope your mom has a safe trip in.

  73. Mary on Lake Pulaski says:

I’m patiently waiting for winter to end…I’m done with the cold weather for now. Making plans for summer – lots of life changes ahead!

  79. Carrie Mc W says:

With each collection, it has taken me a couple of minutes to warm up to the flavor of the fabric. Then I fall in love with it and want to hoard as much as I can because I can never imagine ever using anything else. So then you release a new collection, and I go through the process AGAIN. There is no way I can pick a favorite because there is only a favorite Right Now!

  80. Carrie Mc W says:

OMG, just went back and read about the car incident. I did it too with an interesting twist- I backed my husband’s MBZ into my lowly pickup truck WITH him watching!!! ACK! I immediately burst into tears, he ran towards his injured car and yanked open the door. “Why are you crying” he yelled at me, not quite over the shock of watching his baby get hurt. “Because there is some &**^%^% yelling at me!” This incident is only followed up by my mother backing my car into hers about a week later. It defies explanation.

  81. Violet says:

Thanks for sharing with this great give-a-way! All of your designs are awesome & it’s hard to pick a favorite, but I could if I win!
My summer has been wonderful so far…a week spent at the beach in June, a week with my mom in south Alabama picking tomatoes & blueberries-yum!! & Saturday I will become a mother-in-law, as my oldest son will be getting married! (I’m much to young, lol)
My life has truly been blessed!

  82. Sivje says:

Oh Jennifer, I love ALL of your fabrics! The brighter the better!

Summer is going great, it’s hot here so it’s my chance to catch up on my sewing.

  104. Heather says:

My summer has been a roller coaster of emotions – they say things come in threes so I hope I am done – my family has had a rough few months – lets hope August will be better. For me it seems that stress gets me crafting – I guess it takes my mind off things – so lucky for me I joined a quilt a long and am currently busy on that.

  105. Beth says:

My favorite thing about this summer is the slight ease in my work schedule with everyone taking vacays– let’s a little more time for working on some projects– but never enough time! Would be thriiilllled to win a few yards of luscious fabrics…..

  108. Mandi says:

Great blog! I love following along! My summer would be going so much better were I not on a fabric-buying-freeze. Sigh. Too many beautiful fabrics and not enough budget. So, I’d love to be the lucky winner of your gorgeous fabrics! (Does flattery help me win? Hmmm… just in case…. GREAT colors! FUN patterns! UH-MAZING stuff!)
Seriously, my summer is going well with my two little ones enjoying the sunshine.
    -Mandi

My summer so far has been made up mostly of research for my thesis and work… Not very exciting, I’m afraid ;)

  132. D Spack says:

  133. Mary Billmaier says:

Summer! Ahhhhh, my favorite time of the year! I’ve been teaching elementary school for 32 years and just love these long, warm, days to myself. I spend them sewing, quilting, and scrapbooking and then sit out on the porch in the evening, when it cools off, and either read a book or talk with my hubby until the sun sets. The mountains look beautiful with the pink and orange clouds behind them. It just doesn’t get any better than this!
I love all of your fabrics, especially the bright colors, and have just started sewing a Patricia Tunic in pink and brown fabric, because I’m into that combo right now.
My favorite fabrics of yours are Amanda Fleur in green from the “Pretty Please” collection and Stephanie in emerald in the “Flower Power” collection. They say ‘summer’ to me!

  134. Robin says:

All your fabrics are beautiful, Jennifer. I haven’t had the pleasure of seeing “Pretty Please” in person, but I will as soon as I can once the layoff is behind us.

  135. Ellie says:

Wow! Maybe I shouldn’t win, how could I ever choose! I’d be curious as to which of your own fabrics YOU would choose? I would guess it would be like picking which of your children you would choose! Whew! Just LOVE your fabrics!:)

  136. Melody says:

I love all your fabric lines! Thanks for the opportunity to win.
    Sew long,
    Melody

  137. I love the flower in Dance with me!! Makes me think of the wallpaper I had when growing up in Syracuse New York before we moved to the Virgin Islands where roses were replaced by Hibiscus. Jennifer

  138. Jen says:

I love the Pretty Please Ann Mural(any color), PP Amanda Fleur in the black!!, PP Sally!!, FLower Power Elizabeth Rose, Flower Power, Stephanie & Matt’s Tux….I love all the SIs Boom Basics!!
My summer has been great. I have made some cutesy clothes for ME and for friend’s kiddos. I don’t have any of my own yet but maybe one day, if God will ever heal my barren womb. We are going on a big family vacation to Destin FL in August and I can NOT wait. It’s the first one ever since I got married 5 yrs ago and we need it. My Mom recently had a mass show up on her Mammogram and we are in the middle of trying to find out what it is so this vacation couldn’t have come at a better time. So, if I won this, I would make her a shirt or a new handbag :) She needs something sassy!
Hope you are having a great summer!!

  142. Rafael's mum says:

Hi Jennifer (woof.. hi George…)(and rest of the family… wouldn’t want to leave anyone out now would we!)
So you thought you’d make some more work for yourself by inviting Lots and Lots of comments ! Lol!
But hey, I am not complaining! I would not pass the chance up of some fabric anyday!
So, you want to know, which print, any collection. Well… (since I’ve now found them all :-) I do like Dance with me, as it is so bright and cheerful, but… favourites are the romantics. I just LOVE that print with the big roses and the stripes and turquoise background (the one you cannot get anywhere and so I don’t know what it is called!)
And I have just ordered 3 prints that should be in the mail… (can’t wait). The first one (that I really really really love too) is (just looked it up on the order form) Pretty Please Ann Flower Mural Ice. I also bought Jackie Sky and Pinwheel Stripe Lime.
I love turquoise and blue (maybe because I am an aquarian?) and having it in the romantic prints is absolutely tops!
Hope George kept his bed! Rafael had a fight yesterday, got attacked by a labrador… eeeek… (he didn’t so anything… not his fault!) but he’s ok..just a bit schocked, as you would be.
Hi to your mum and hope she has a fabulous stay.
Good luck with the new collection!
    Marguerite

As for my favorite fabrcs… I just LOVE all of your lines, I think my favorite is well… do I SERIOUSLY have to narrow it down? I just love how your fabrics are bright, feminine, classic, modern, and hip all at the same time. And I really like it on the Tunics for little girls and women.

My summer has been all right. Trying to move so my sewing time has been cut down a lot. Other than that though perfect weather and pool parties for my kids so I can’t complain.
As for a favorite fabric there is no way I could possibly choose. I love them all. I only wish I could win the lottery and buy each and every print. :)
Hope you have a wonderful time with your mom visiting.

  152. Penny in Denver says:

Wonderful of you to have another giveaway. The summers always seem to fly by and the winters just crawl along. It’s the peak of the heat here in Denver and the job now is to keep cool. Thanks for a chance to win some fabric. I “need” more:) So generous of you! Enjoy having your mother there. Always such a treat when momma’s around!

  157. Josh Patel says:

    Hey Jennifer

  163. Monique says:

Picking out a favorite fabric is soooo hard! I probably use the Flower Power fabrics the most- the Loopy Vintage fabric in any of the colors is so beautiful, but my favorite color is the aqua. My son made a polymer clay necklace for me for my bday that had the colors of that fabric because my daughter told him it was my favorite. :) I am updating my blog today with a pic of it if you have time to check it out!

  164. Amy says:

Summer has still not arrived here in Maine. The rain and cold persist and we just keep waiting for the weather to turn around. Looking at those fabrics sure do help a girl pretend it’s warm and sunny outside. :)

My summer is going pretty good! Quilting, gardening, babysitting my granddaughters, knitting, crocheting and sitting on the front porch dreaming while sipping tea. Yes..it’s a good summer. But you know what would even make it better? Guess!!! Yes, winning this generous offing of fabrics. Thanks for entering my name!

  168. Karen Wills says:

    Hi Jennifer!
Love ALL your fabrics! The colors are always so rich and the patterns are perfect! I used Flower Power this summer to make myself a Patricia Tunic. My 4 year old like it so much, she asked for a matching one. We had a great time on our quick summer trip to Great Wolf Lodge, wearing our matching tunics over our bathing suits. Lots of people asked where we bought them! Thanks so much for making such wonderful, high quality fabrics that both young and not-so-young can look great in!! Can’t wait to see what your future collections look like!!

  169. Kristi says:

This has been a great summer and possibly even better then last summer (which involved weddings in Hawaii and trips to California.) Though this summer involves less travel, this 25 year old is looking foward to a week long visit from my mom to start some project and enjoy being in the same city. I have recently started myt first quilt and would LOVE to start on some clothing!
    Thank you for posting Jennifer!

My summer is going well, with some unexpected twists, including a job loss for my husband. He’s had more time at home so the house is looking GREAT – lots of painting and fixing up going on around here. I’m finishing a course and hope to do some serious sewing in August.
The fender bender incident is something most of us can relate to…

  182. Hi there Jen’
here in BC canda we have been on alert in our neighbourhood for forest fires…Only 3 homes lost and no lives lost. 11,000 people evacuted all around us and now are back in to their homes, a joy for us all. Summer is many things, and some fire the most fearful for so many families! But the sun is shining and the water in the lake is cool, it is as good as it gets now!

Oh, wow, just to pick one? That one is almost impossible. Just the other night I was sitting there and tried to figure out which one of the fabric-designs to chose. I had to chose 3 prints out of 5 and it was tough!!!
So, yes, in the end I chose some prints from pretty please which does not mean that I didn’t like the others but they went so well together…
I am quite busy here, I am moving in 5 days and I have one major examen coming up on monday and then one a week after that and the thing I most need is some sleep. But it will all get better and then I will be very happy it is over and I will live together with a wonderful and sweet person :) which I have been been looking forward to for almost a year.
    Hope you are well!
    Hugs,
    Johanna
