What timing, just yesterday I made a top quilt with all the great fabrics you sent me last fall from The Mod Girls line. Love, love, love it!!!
And had a good laugh with it as well… the past few nights have finally cooled off her in southern California and my son said he needed a nice, warm blanket for his bed. When he walked in yesterday and saw the quilt top laid out and being worked on, I said, “Travis, I’m making a quilt for your room. ” I heard from the kitchen, “Cool!” As he rounded the corner into the family room and spied the fun, bright colors, and all the lovers on the toile I got the sideways glance, and a little snicker as he headed back to the kitchen. He might laugh now, but I promise to take a photo and send it when he’s wrapped up in it one cold evening. Until then it’ll be happily tossed on the sofa, waiting for me to curl up into.

I just happened onto your site, somehow through Pioneer Woman’s blog. I was saddened to read about your sister’s dog and then shed more tears when I read about “No Moon.” Both my sons are married now and the empty nest is an adjustment — but one God expects us to make. The up side is that little grand-angels come to the nest every so often and that is the blessing. I’d love to sew something up for both of them with that gorgeous fabric!
